Thanks for your help and the guide for EZ Vinyl converter. But Gracenote no longer seems to support version 7 which is the latest do you know whether it still supports the older versions of EZ Vinyl converter - if yes than were could one buy a version of EZ Vinyl converter 2 or before hand that does still connect with gracenote to import the track names
    Regards

You'll need to make sure you have the latest version of the EZ Converter software installed, which you can get from here. Also run the apple software updater to update itunes to the most recent offering. For starters, that will eliminate many problems...
Otherwise, please see link to the ION support page here, (or here for other models), instructions on page 9 of this article here, and consult the troubleshooting sections for more.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

In this case you either have to name them manually ..or use the feature called view file info ..or something like that..just select a file and click right to see options ..most players have view file info ..and you can auto tag them if you are connected to the internet at the time ..
This is happen with the files after ripping ..I suppose ..and it is not a strange thing cause most players do this when used to rip files for a disk made in common cd format ..track ..They usually name the folder unknown album ..and files track number ..
If you do not find a feature like that in itunes..to tag them automatically ..jus use winamp player ..and in the playlist just click right on file ...view file info ..and auto-tag ..

or ..if you want them in a certain order ..rename them as you place them and use numbers in front of the name ...this have priority in ordering them ...even in front of letters ..This way you will be able to have them in folders in the order you need ..if this is what you wanted..really from what you posted no one could understand exactly what you want ..or so ...

    http://www.tucows.com/preview/206623
    http://www.winamp.com/media-player/en
here is both variants of winamp player ..first one is for mac and the second for windows..
The idea is that this player has in its play-list window a feature called view file info ...available if you click right on the file ..in the play-list window...If you open this feature for a file ..you have an auto-tag function ...and this is what you need for to auto rename the files ...It actually compare teh files over the internet and it finds similar files and let you know if its correct or not ..In this point you confirm the autotag or reject it ..Its a speedy process and this way you can name your files again ...cause from most converters used for rip-ing from cd ..the files came tamed track no...in a folder unknown artist ..and date of the day ..

The converter doesn't know what disk you are ripping so you will have to manually add them. Or use the Gracenote ™ MusicID to have them automatically named - but you will still have to type in the name of the record for a better and faster result.
If you don't know how to use it read in the manual at page 5. If you don't have the manual here it its

Unfortunately (according to the Gracenote site) since the last company refocus (5 months ago) only iTunes and Winamp are still supported - all EZ products, no matter how old it is, are no longer able to use it. You will have to use iTunes for that: rip the disk to a separate folder, load them in iTunes, go to the Advanced menu, select Get CD Track Names.

The software is not 'seeing' the gap between the tracks, so it does not know the song has ended. Untick 'split recording into tracks' box, then sit with it as it records and click on new track every time a song ends. Tedious, but it works.

EZ Audio Converter does not export files to iTunes

I've had exactly the same problem, and so far no resolution from Ion. A small bit of good news: the .wav files are on the hard drive, although without any track info. At least on Vista, they are in username/AppData/Local/Temp. The files are name Temp0, Temp1, Temp 2, ...

You can use iTunes to add these files (File/add file) and then convert them to .mp3s, or whatever format you prefer. Or you could convert them first using the tool of your choice, such as Audiograbber.

This is inconvenient, but a lot better than re-ripping the vinyl after EZVinyl hangs.

No sound from iTunes audio files

it sounds like EZ A C did not get the audio or EZ put it in a format tha Itunes Cant play. download VLC media player and install it. open the file with VLC and se if it will play it. It will play just about anything it has most of the codex's need to play anything too. if it doesent play it then something is wrong with the input to EZ A C you might have the input muted.
