You should reinstall the driver if the message appear on the computer's screen ..cause it is damaged..if it appears on the camera display ..than you should download and install the firmware update ..cause the camera firmware is damaged..
if you do nopt have it on the disk ..download from the support site of the manufacturer..

no ..you are not ...I looked for it myself and I didnt found any ..so the thing to do is to contact them in an email or something like that ..or take the camera to a repair shop and fix it ..cause it seam they have no firmware on the site for that ....I was shocked too , such a well known manufacturer to have issues like that ...I suggest again to write them first ..

My jvc gz-mg57ek 30gb hd eviro camera blank screen

i have the same problem, from what i have been able to find out is that the CCD chip has either burned out, or become damaged in someway, the later models of our camera can get this problem fixed for free but sadly the offer does not extend as far as us, comet will charge £95 to fix our problem and jessops will send it off to HQ for £25 before giving us a price for fixing (manager estimated around £100) i think its going to be cheaper to abandon the camera and upgrade to a newer model as sad as this is. if you know of anywhere that will repair for cheeper please message me back.

Deleting unwanted files with a JVC Everio MG130 Camera

Answer:what you do is you press the play/record button on the left side of the camcorder when it is open to get to the videos. then you use the laser touch operation to scroll to the video you want to delete. then, right under the screen there should be 5 buttons. the one to the left of the menu button has a picture of a garbage can looking thing above it. just press that and then press yes when it asks you if your sure.

JVC Envirio GZ-MG21U Error Msg.

I had the same issue, but I went ahead and executed the recovery and my videos were still there. I thought I had lost one but it was actually saved/loaded to another image file in the camera which is the same one that the Demo playback file is stored in. I located it by connecting the camera to the PC going under my computer and just opening every file. After I got everything off the camera I went into the menu and executed the data clean up program. I am now scanning internet sites to see if there is a fix listed anywhere to keep it from happening again. Hope this helps.
