Take a look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hi, Id really appreciate it it if you could help me fix this problem with my camera. When I turn it on it beeps and it says -card full- on the display screen, the problem is that Ive NEVER used this card...

here are the manuals in 4 part downloads
http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_support_manuals.asp?id=615

just in case you have lost yours. It says to format the card, and check to see if the write protect is on on the card. you may have a bad card as well. I know you said you have never used the card, but this doesnt mean it is a good card, it only means it doesnt work. If you have a friend with a working card, first take all the photos off his card then try it in your camera to see if it works.

4 beeps and no screen when i turn on my enovo desktop

One long beep followed by three short beeps means that either the video card isn't installed or the memory on the video card is bad. Reseating or replacing the video card will typically fix the cause of this Intel beep code.

It is not showing the post screen and beeping a long and continuous beep

a long beep is identicated your vga has trouble, but maybe it caused by ram error, first turn off your computer, open computer case, disconnect your ram and connect again, turn on computer, is the computer still beeping??if yes it mean the problem come from your vga card, do not use onboard VGA port, just insert PCI or AGP VGA card, your computer will work properly
i hope this helpful
thank you for using fixya

Screen will not light up and there is beeping at the start up?

Hello tiann3

The beeping as you start the computer is basically a message telling you what is wrong with it.

if you have slow and somewhat long beeps it generally means memory 9RAM) problem. could be faulty or loose RAM. If you have more than one piece of RAM you can test them by turning the computer on with one piece of RAM at a time.

If the beeps are faster and shorter, it means problem with graphic card (if your graphic card is on integrated).

good luck

What does "memory card is write protected mean?" I can't take any pictures

when i turn on my nikon coolpix the screen says memory card is write protected what does that mean

Dec 07, 2008 | Nikon Cameras

What does write protect mean?

"Write Protect" means that something is locked and your device (camera) cannot "write" to it's storage area.
What type of "storage media" are you using?
For example:  the camera's internal memory, a CompactFlash card, a Memory Stick, an "xD-Picture Card" (micro, mini or regular sized), or a Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard.
[Did you put something  (a small plastic card of some sort) into a slot on the camera before or after turning it on?
Those little cards usually have a tiny button (also called a switch or lever) on them that will move back and forth to lock (write protect) or unlock it. This sounds like the memory card inside your camera is locked or "Write Protected.

To fix this simply take it out, closely examine the memory for the button- the button will be closer to the word "lock" or "protect" and all you need to do is gently slide it in the opposite direction from where it currently is. Put it back into the camera and see if it still says "Write Protect."

Let me know...
