There is transmission problem. Check your remote sensor with camera phoneand press any button. If ultra light flashes, your remote is O.k. And some times your receiving sensor in PCB also be a defective. Check with same type another remote.

I have a videocon vitaair AC . The remote control function is not functioning. The AC is not receiving any signals from the remote. Remote control has new batteries and display working.kindly help.

you can check if the remote is transmitting by looking at the end of the remote where the little bulb is that you point at the air con unit through a smartphone camera and press each button, if the light flashes the remote infra red transmitter is sending. your mobole camera can pick up light in the part of the spectrum your eyes cannot and displays as a flash. it will at least let you know if the problem is the remote transmitter or the units receiver

Where is the infrared receptor card in this equipment to change it. I have a split ac panasonic CS C24BKP and does not respond to remote control. I know the remote control is good because I saw thr...

There is a receptor on the below the front pannel but the problem could be :
1.Low battery charge in the remote control.
2.The signal cable that connects the receptor to the card(pc board) could be loose/disconnected
3.Try one receptor from a working unit
4.Try a remote control from a working unit

Receiver freezes and does not communicate with remote, stays powered on though

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. In some cases, the remote control might need to clean.

Fan unit not responding to the remote to change speeds

The red light on the remote is the battery indicator light. You probably need a new capacitor. Take off switchcup & check black box to see if it is going bad.

Did you figure out why the ac wasn't responding to the remote? I am having the same problem. I just cleaned out the filters but it's still not responding to the remote. I have already tried reset button in the remote, which didn't help. I am pretty sure that the remote is not out of battery.

Garage door opener will not respond to security plus remotes

Reset the Liftmaster unit. There should be a red reset button on the unit in the garage. If this does not work, reset the breaker. Good Luck!

Control seems to be working but unit not responding.

Check your remote control by using a camera or cellphone camera as your eyes to confirm if the remote control is ok. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and check if a light emits in your remote control transmitter. If no light then the remote control is defective, but if the light is present then the remote is ok and the unit receiver board itself is defective.

Check also if there is a reset or rst button on the remote control, press the button and test the remote.

Mx 3000 universal lcd remote

There are 4 reasons why your unit is behaving this way:
1. Charger is the problem.
2. The docking station is the broken.
3. The battery is broken or not accepting charge.
4. The actual unit is the problem.
It is very hard to tell which one is causing this to happen.
Let us do some troubleshooting first:
1. Plug your charger in an A/C outlet and make sure the red power light (left) is lit, otherwise the charger or the docking station is broken.
2. You can test the charger with a multimeter. Unplug the charger from the docking station and measure the voltage across the outside and inside, it should register more than 5 volts DC. If there is a 5Volt DC the docking station is the problem otherwise the charger is broken.
3. If the red power light is lit and the status light (right) is lit too, your docking station is broken.
4. If the red power light is lit, dock the unit into the charger, the status light (left) should turn red when your battery is accepting charge or turn blue when your battery is fully charged.
5. If the status light will not lit at all (while the red power light is on), tap the screen while the unit is docked on the charger. If the unit will become alive, you need a new battery otherwise you need a new unit.

12 hours is very long time to charge, the status light should turn to blue in less than 2 hours especially for a new battery.
