Hi there,

I would recommend you use the official Wii Cleaning Kit so you don't damage your Nintendo. Information on obtaining this kit, including step-by-step instructions can be found on the official Nintendo website:

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

You can most certainly connect more than one console to a single TV. I would recommend calling a professional service. I own a shop in Central GA. JuiceBox Gaming Systems 1-800-479-4620 give us a call, we will try our best free over the phone to get you going. It is much easier talking through a problem.

Do you have a copy of SMASH BROS BRAWL? If so, try it and see if it works.

Usually if every game is working EXCEPT one, it's a problem with the game. However, on the Wii, most games are single layer. Smash Bros Brawl is one game I know for sure is double layer. Some Wiis have problems playing double layer discs.

If everything is working OK including Smash Bros Brawl, I would return the disc and get an exchange for another one. You may have gotten a defective disc.

My wii game says "

Your console isn't reading the game disc. You may need to clean the lens inside the disc player (you could try a can of air into the disc tray if you'r comfortable with that, i've done this before no big deal.)
OR it could be a mechanical issue. in which case you would likely want a professional to fix it
~best of luck!

One, is the disc scratched?
Two, What Game?
Three, Try unplugging the power cord from the wall and Wii, and wait 10 minutes, and plug it back in. Should Work Like new.

Wii wont read disc's. It says,"An error has occurred. Press the eject button and remove disc, then turn off Wii and refer to operation mannual for help trouble shooting. Thanks for your help. ...

I'm with you Jordan. Mine just gave me this message for the first time last night. I'm desperate for a solution. I may try replacing the laser...less than $20 to do.

Just out of curiosity, what were you playing when you got the error? It wouldn't happen to be COD Black Ops, would it?

My wii says an error has occurred and its say take the disk out and turn the power off but still will not work.

If you keep getting the error below with all games

"An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii operations Manual for help troubleshooting."

You need to replace the laser in your Wii. You can find them online and you shouldn't pay more than $50.00

Error occurred.press the eject button and remove the disc. turn the power off and follow the instructions in the console manuel.

Is it saying this all the time or no? Sometimes it's because the disc in entered backwards or it's dirty. Try resetting the Wii. If it keeps telling you this, the lens is dirty. Purcahse a cd lens cleaning kit and you'll be fine.
