Where is the filter

Usually it does. It will be mounted outside of the fan. Look for a tab that can act as a thumb hold. Pull it straight out. It will be washable and reusable. Clean it & put it back in. Don't discard it. Or consult the users manual.

Going from a three wire cord to a 4-wire cord. Drier has 3 connection points.

The white wire goes to the middle terminal post on the dryer.
The red and black wires go to the outside terminal posts.Doesn't matter which.
The green ground wire needs to be attached to the outside metal case...anywhere. The easiest way is to put the eyelet on the screw that attaches the terminal cover plate when you put it back on. Sandwich it between the screw head, the plate and the case.

We have a vented kenmore range hood that is vented thru a pipe (out the top of the hood) to the outside of the house; air comes out the top of the hood and blows into the kitchen. why is air blowing out...

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

you may have a clog, in the vent pipe, not uncommon in the winter for wild things to build nest..
their is also a air damper plate, that might be stuck, this damper prevents outside air from blowing back in

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

Clean your dryer vents, and lint filters. You may need to clean vent from wall to outside. to test this.. unhook vent pipe from wall..and run dryer and see what happens. in addition you may have defective heat coils

My ac is model carrier it's working both ouside and inside but still not cool from the house itself i just request where i could fine gas to be insert ,

Try changing the filter first and cleaning the compressor outside with a spray of water (with the unit off) The gas (freon) must be put in by a AC professional as it requires special equipment and an expert.

Transmission shifts hard

The first thing to do on thoes Automatic Overdrives is to reset the Throttle Valve cable. At the throttle valve assy. find the cable at the rear (that goes down to the transmission). You don't have to take the cover off, but only if you want to. Place the transmission in neutral and set the parking brake. At the cable take a pocket screwdriver and pry the locking mechanism up. Its a little knurled so it dosen't slip when you push it back down with your thumb. With that up and the cable feels extremly loose grab an assistant. You and them go under the truck and at the shift shaft you both will find the Throttle Valve lever located outside of the shift shaft. Have your assistant pull that lever to the rear of the transmission with 8 lbs of force. Then you go back to the locking mechanism you just pulled up. While your assistant is holding that lever back take your thumb and push that locking mechanism down. Next, have your assistant let go and leave from under the truck. Put your throttle valve assy. dust cover back on (if you decided to remove it). Place your transmission back in park, then release the parking brake. Shut the hood. After that you will not be able to feel one single shift take place.

Slide the fabric all the way to one side to expose the center clasp (hook). Then using both hands grasp the clasp like you were putting you hands on handelbar (placing your thumbs under the bottom of the clasp about 1 inch apart). Then push up with your thumbs while pulling down with your fingers (which should be wraped around the outside of the clasp). You will need to push with your thumbs all the way up in order to separate the two pieces (note - it feels like you are going to break it but you wont).

Putting them back to gether is just a matter of aligning the tabs in the slots and pressing the two parts together.

Just bought it and put it on its side

Hi the rule of thumb is keep the fridge in the up-rite position for at least the same amount of time that the refrigerator was laying down to help any oil in the lines to drain back into the compressor before plugging it back in.. But I like to wait 24hrs to be on the save side..hope this helps
