All them blinky lights mean the control is either satisfied that the clothes are dry OR it has an air restriction in the vent. OR one of the thermistors is out of spec.

Forgot this tidbit; Get some windex and clean the sensors. They may have something on them that repells moisture and the machine thinks them clothes is dry.

FA Stackable Washer / Dryer combo... LINT TRAP FULL / CYCLE STOPS

Question edited for clarity.

I can think of two things.

First wash the lint filter with dish soap and give it a gentle scrub with a plastic pot brush. Fabric softener can gum them up and impede the air flow.

Check the hose at the back for lint build up in the hose itself and in the tube at the back of the dryer. Finally check the flaps on the wall vent for smooth operation and they they are opening fully. If you have the old type with a circular flap, you might even find a birds nest in there!

Although the error light is telling you to clean the lint filter, it is actually registering reduced air flow and an overheat situation.

What does it mean when a red light flashes above start button and the clean lint filter light is on the Frigidaire ffle3900uw? Lint trap is clean!dryer shuts off after 5 minutes.

If you use fabric softener sheets in your dryer, they eventually will deposit enough residue in your lint trap to close up the mesh. Usually you cannot see the residue, although it is blocking the movement of air through it. My advise would be to remove the lint trap and run it under hot water and clean it well, then try the dryer with the clean lint trap. I hope this works for you and solves your problem.

Frigidaire dryer dries for a few seconds then stops and lights blink.

Hi laylabetes - Answering your question, there isn't a way to actually CLEAN the control panel. Depending on an actual diagnose from a professional, the part would need replacing or if possible repair. However, if your model is electric, turns and there is no heat, it could possibly be a blown fuse. There are two house fuses that supply voltage to your dryer circuit in your fuse box. If one of the two is blown, the dryer may turn but will not heat. Check and replace fuse in fuse box if necessary. Please feel free to reconnect if this does not resolve your issue - Best, Chris

New dryer looks like never been used (got in purchase of home), pulled lint trap to see for lint (clean) flashed light inside trap (clean), drum turns when on and clothes become warm/hot but not...

it is either the coil is going bad or the thermo safety is bad, there should be a wiring diagram(usually located in the back of the dryer behind the knobs, just unscrew the back plate) and you will see the safety limit. You can bypass and see if that is the problem, if it is make sure to get a new one as if you leave it bypassed and use it down the road it may cause a fire. Hope this helps tim

I have a Kenmore Elite digital dryer, manufactured in 2002, and it will run for awhile but then it stops and sets itself to a certain dry time/settings and wont do anything else. When I press stop, it just...

I have a newer model of what I believe is the same dryer. I'm not sure if the layout is the same on yours as it is on mine.

I had the same problem, first the problem stems from user error -- there's a reason they say to empty the lint trap after every use. I know I've been remiss in emptying it thus my beeping bonanza.

Second -- THE FIX -- in the lint trap area (this is described based on my 2007/08 model) there are screws that allow you to remove the lint trap censor cover, unscrew, you'll see it's connected to wiring, there are 2 electrical connections, these slide on and off, gently pull and each will slide off, clean the connectors. By disconnecting to clean, which is the basis of the problem, the electric function resets (as far as I know), the beeping stops and you're good to go! Good luck.

Fisher and Paykel electric top load dryer

Dd you try to unscrew the larger lint trap underneath the lint cup collector. My serivce person showed me how to do this and after a year I cleaned it out and was surprised how much lint was caught in there. My dryer was not heating and drying quickly, this helped the problem.
