Question about Electrolux Vacuums
This 1623 model canister vacuum has a top mounted rectangular switch that you step on/off with your foot. The handle is a recessed hole in the switch area that you plunge your hand into to pickup the canister.
I dont see any screws to remove. I am trying to gain access to the switch which is not working. There are strips/bumpers along both sides that I have tried sliding off but they wont slide off and there dont seem to be any screws under these strips/bumpers. Can you help? Thanks.
Hi jjda..slide the strips/bumper...maybe it's hard to slide off...but try again...this week-end i open my 1623 too...no screws..just the strips hold the top and the base together..good luck!...Joel
