You're probably experiencing a thermal problem with the unit. You can open it up to expose the interior components, and let it run until it fails...and then spray suspect components once at a time with freeze spray. When you hit the component, the unit should come on. The problem with devices these days is that, even if you do pinpoint the bad component, it's hard to get the parts, and often we're let with no choice but to buy the entire board, or a new unit if the cost of repair and board are too high.
You can see what you can see...sometimes cracked solder traces can be heat senstive, and sometimes you can resolder them (if they're not too small).
Contact support for you device, to see if they can help, or swap the unit out.

Yamaha settings

bottom of forks turn all the way in, then back out 12 clicks
top of fork - trail riding = all the way out then turn in 2 clicks, track riding = turn in 8 clicks
Rear spring needs to be adjusted so the tip of the rear fender drops 2.75" when sitting on it.
The top adjustment (compression valve) will be close to all the way out for trail and 5 to 8 clicks turned in for track.
The bottom adjustment meters how slow or fast the shock extends (rebound). Stand on something at peg height with one foot on the peg and the other on your stand and shove the bike down. Adjust the bottom (rebound) clicker to match the front of the bike so that both return to top at the same time.
This is a good starting point for any bike.
To fine tune your suspension it is always best to have a suspension tech watch you ride and make adjustments until the chassis of the bike stays flat while the suspension does its work. Usually take a tech 20 minutes to set the front and rear compression and rebound track-side!

I have a 97 suzuki savage, bike was running great then after about 20min. would just shut off. would start back up and as long as I stayed on the throtttle would continue to run. just replaced the spark...

Hi one of 2 things, either the carb is freezing up (or injection) or it is evaporating the fuel. For a giggle, try running it around SLOWLY, to see if the distance improves. For example restrict yourself to back lanes and about 1/3 throttle and just have a poodle around. no vicious accelerating and no hammering up the road. If the problem does not manifest itself then you will have to discover the reason. Many Nippon bikes suffered this in the UK and basically was because the Brits use bikes as a means of transport 365 days of the year so heaters were fitted to many especially Yamaha Virago type machines.

My transmission on my 2001 flhrci suddenly started leaking. don't notice leakage when bike is upright

Clean all oil from the bike exterior. Leave it sitting in an upright position for a period of time. This may require a bike lift or other such device. Then look for leak source. Make sure oil level is not too high. When changing oil it often gets on the cross member and may leak when on the jiffy satnd for a while until it is all gone from this area. Make sure to always use thread sealant and a good o-ring on the drain plug.

My 2007 Nissan sentra starts making a whining noise after driving for roughly 10min. When I accelerate harder the noise gets louder and has a higher pitch. When i let off of the accelerator the noise...

i would first check your surpentine belt to see if it is getting burnt up, most whining sounds are an indication of a bad pully either from the alternator, compressor, pwr steering pump, tensioner, idler pully,ect.ect., i would take the belt off and spin the pullys by hand untill you find wich one is bad

I have a 49cc two stroke bike, (pit bike) like new. Starts first time, no problems. But after 10min of riding the bike stalls out. If i leave it for 20min then it will start again. Run for 10min then stall...

Ok, a two stroke engine basicly needs 3 things to run: fuel, compression and ignition.

First, check that the fuelline, fuelfilter, or fueltap is not blocked. If the fuelflow is alright, check that the compression is fine. try kicking the kickstarter a few time: the should be a certain resistance. If the compression is wrong try changing the headgasket. If it is alright, check the ignition. This is done by taking the sparkplug out at placing it on the frame, when you kick the kickstarter a spark should jump from the sparkplug to the frame.

But my guess would be that you have a partly blocked fuelsystem.

Can you please provide me a list of all major bike types?

I have listed the most famous bike types: BMX Bicycle

Bicycle Moto Cross (BMX) bicycles are designed for rough off road riding and are typically single speed. People also use them for stunt riding, and you may see some fitted with stunt pegs.

Mountain Bike (MTB)

A mountain bike is designed for trail riding and downhill riding. It can also be ridden on the road. They come in many shapes and forms. Some have no suspension, whilst others have front and rear suspension. A mountain bike without rear suspension is usually called a hard tail bike.

Most MTBs use 26 inch wheels which is the standard. This size wheel is fairly strong, especially when coupled with the large off road tyres that are fitted to MTBs.

An MTB is suited for off road riding and will handle rough terrain quite easy. It is very stable on rough terrain, but is a lot slower to ride on the road when compared to a road bike. It is also suitably geared for climbing hills.

Hybrid Bicycle

Another style of bike that has a similar riding position to a mountain bike, but better road speed is a Hybrid bicycle. Hybrids are a cross between a mountain bike and a road bike. They have an upright comfortable position, road tyres, and are usually a lot lighter than a mountain bike.

Hybrid bicycles are typically used for commuting.

Touring Bicycle

A touring bicycle is designed for loaded cycle touring and has the capability to be fitted with mudguards, racks, panniers and extra water cages. They are typically fitted with wider road type tyres that are suitable for gravel riding also.

They usually come with a stronger frame and longer chainstays so that the back of your feet don't hit the rear panniers. They are usually fitted with a relaxed drop bar style handlebar. The geometry of the frame is also different and allows for much more easier steering and handling when loaded.

Expedition Bicycle

As above for touring, but usually fitted with Trekking bars and MTB gear and is designed for extreme off road conditions.

Randonneur or 'All Rounder'

A rare beast in Australia where we like to specialise. 'Randonneur' is a French term, coined to describe a bike that can do a bit of everything - you can ride with the pack or take a doddle with the kids, you can ride light or carry a load, you'd use it to visit Gran on Sunday then pick up some groceries on the way home. They are the 'family station wagon' of cycling. However, like any Jack of All Trades, they do everything well but the specialists do it better. They can carry a load but not like a heavy tourer. They are fast but heavier than a racer and with more comfortable geometry. They have wider wheels and tyres to ride on rough roads but wont handle true off road work.

Typically, they look like any other racing or flat bar road bike ... until you look at the details. Most randonneurs start life as a touring bike or hybrid, and are then modified by the owner over time to reflect how they are used.
