Question about HP OfficeJet 6210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
This must be related to several issues. Have you tried with new cartridges? Well, one question from my side, did the errors show up on the computer or on the Printer's LCD? If they show up on the Printer's Display, we need to deal only with the printer, I don't think the computer or communication the computer & the printer or cable is involved.
First of all, try with new cartridges and verify how it goes. If the same problem persists, I would suggest you to completely clean the printer.
If you can, it's recommended to partially disassemble the printer to make sure that you can clean whatever is possible.
Remove all the cartridges, open the back access door and the front access door, lift the scanning unit and turn off the printer. If you know how to disassemble, that'd be much helpful since disassembling will expose more of the printer's components. Now take a blower (or a vacuum cleaner) and blow through the passage from front to back or from back to front, repeat this several times.
Clean the metallic contacts on the printer where the cartridges are installed with a cotton bud dampen with alcohol or spirit. If you have old cartridges, clean them too.
Don't forget to remove/dis-engage the front paper tray.
Most printers will definitely accumulate with dusts and dirt after prolonged used. It's also important to clean all the gears, rollers, bars, belts etc... but never use oil based material with them.
Once everything's cleaned and cleared, reassemble/reinstall everything and see if it helps or not.
Sometimes, it's also necessary to service printers, if nothing seems helpful, I would suggest you to get it serived at HP Service Center.
If the errors show up on computer, try uninstalling and reinstall the printer's driver and softwares.
These are the thing I can suggest you from my end.
Thanks for using FixYa.
