Advent laptop will not turn on

Test your battery on another similar laptop or use a known good working battery just to help rule the batter out. If it does not power ON using AC adapter, it could be something on the motherboard or your AC adapter. I suggest you first check the output of your AC adapter using a multimeter. The voltage reading you get should equal the one on the adapter's label.

Also check DC connection (where output jack of adapter plugs into the laptop) as sometimes it breaks and does not make contact with the motherboard.

And lastly may be you can try a power drain... remove the battery and unplug ac adapter. Press and hole power ON button for 30secs at least. Put back the battery and plug back AC. Power ON as normal.

Error remove disc and turn power off follow the manaul

First turn the Wii console power OFF, and remove the AC adapter's AC plug from the power socket. Next, check wheather the disc is dirty or scratched. If it is dirty, gently wipe with a soft cloth from the center to the outside. Wait about 5 minutes. Then plug the AC adapter's AC plug back into the power socket and turn the console power on. If the same message still appears, the Wii console may be damaged. Turn the Wii console off immediately. Remove the AC adapter's AC plus from the plug, and visit support.nintendo.com for additional troubleshooting or call 1-800-255-3700.

Disc will not eject

Turn the Wii off and on again after about 20 seconds. Press the eject button again.

Unplug the Wii's AC power supply if Step 1 doesn't work. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, and trying to eject the disc again after turning the Wii back on.

Hold down the eject button for 5 to 10 seconds

Try ejecting the disc with the Wii at different angles. If you hold the Wii upside down, it may help the disc fall out.

Call Nintendo and send the Wii back if non of these steps work. In most cases, a disc stuck in the Wii should be covered by warranty.

Nintendo says to see if power light was coming on, AC adapter reset. unplug from both ends for 90 seconds.Hold eject button for five or 10 seconds.

How do i fix a disc error on my acer aspire

Make sure you do not have any devices plugged in to the computer like a USB flash drive or a MMC. Usually what you have to do about that is to drain the power of the computer. Turn it off, remove the battery, unplug the AC adapter and then press the power button for 5 secs. Turn it on using the AC adapter alone. if you still get the same message, You will have to physically open the back of your laptop and reseat the Hard drive. If it still wont correct the problem, restart you computer and either press f2 or delete to enter the BIOS page. check if the HDD is properly detected and try to reload the BIOS defaults. now if any of these wont work, call ACER and most probably your Hard Drive is bad.

Wii will not turn on

I've seen this before. You might need to reset your Power Cable.. Yes, that sounds weird, but the Wii's power cord needs to be reset when there are blackouts etc..
To reset it, unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet (or surge protector), then unplug all accessories and wires from the Wii console. Wait about 90 seconds for the AC adapter to reset (this is a good time to inspect all of your hook up wires and AC adapter for damage). Then, attach your AC adapter to the console and plug it into your wall outlet or surge protector. If the power light turns on, then your console and AC adapter are likely working just fine.

Wii console will not read Wii Resort Disc?

The Wii Sports Resort disc is either dirty or scratched. A disc cleaning procedure can be found on pg. 24 of the Wii Operations Manual: System Setup. If the Wii still doesn't read the disc, the Wii itself could be damaged. Turn the power OFF and unplug the AC adapter, then contact Nintendo Customer Service. (1-800-255-3700 in the USA and Canada)

Wii no power no lights

I copied this from nintendo.com hope this helps you.

No Power
Most power issues with the Wii can be fixed by resetting the AC adapter. You can easily reset the AC adapter by following these steps:
      1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip). acunplug.png
      2. The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.
      3. While you're waiting, unplug/remove all accessories from the system (including game discs, SD Cards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, memory cards, hookup cables, and Sensor Bar). Remove all of these from the outlet and the Wii.
      4. Also check to see that controller cords, AC adapter, and Stereo AV cables/Component Video cables are not frayed and do not have exposed wires. If you find any frayed cords or exposed wires, you should replace those parts.
      5. After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. Check to see if the power light comes on.
      6. If the system works, plug the Sensor Bar into your system, then turn the system on to see if it still works. Repeat this process with one accessory at a time. If your system doesn't work once you've connected a particular accessory (Sensor Bar, Game Disc Nintendo GameCube controller, Memory Card, SD Card, etc.), there may be something defective with that accessory.

Wii won't turn on!!!

Try resetting the AC adapter.
  1. Unplug/remove all accessories from the system (including game discs, SD Cards, memory cards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, hookup cables, the AC Adapter, and Sensor Bar) from the outlet and Wii.
  2. Let the system rest for about 90 seconds. While you're waiting, check to see that controller cords, AC Adapter, and Stereo AV cables/Component Video cables are not frayed or have exposed wires (this can cause the system to shut off); if so, you should replace those parts.
  3. After the 90 seconds, Plug the AC Adapter into the system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. Check to see if the power light on the Power button comes on.
