Question about Dirt Devil M086700 Vision Bagless Upright Vacuum
On the bottom of the vacume you should see about 4 screws ( philips ) that hold the plate in place, remove the screws and plate and this will expose the motor shaft, belt and roller ( you should also see the broken belt there two ) -- pop out the roller ( pull straight up ). put new belt onto the motorspindle and then onto the roller, snap roller back into place ( note: on the edges of the roller it is somewhat keyed to only fit into the vacume a certain way ), replace the the plate and screws and you are good to go. also while you are getting dirty -- clean the air filter and examine the hose between the floor roller and the suction hose for dirt build up and debris.
