Screen

dont know about replacement but someone I know had a bottle of CD scratch remover and tried it one day, it worked wonders. They also confirmed that McGuiers plastic polish does an amazing job. Take your time, apply multiple times, and use a lint free sunglass wipe to apply and buff with.

I have a Nintendo DS Lite that needs a new housing. It works fine, just the rounded hinge on the right is bent and cracked because it was dropped. Can a local repair shop put a new housing on, or do I...

Go to this page on Nintendo's website. Regardless of your warranty status, they will offer repair options.

"Nintendo DS Lite - Plastic Housing and Hinge Issues

If your Nintendo DS is experiencing issues with the plastic housing (such as a cracked hinge), please contact our Consumer Service Department at 1-800-255-3700 so that we may provide you with repair options."

Nintendo ds won't charge or power up?

check for damage to the small pins where the charger plugs into the DS, it may just not be getting a good contact. If they are ok then perhaps the charger is blown and therefore the internal battery in the DS will be dead.

Either find someone with another DS and try a different charger or try your charger on theirs to rule out if yours is broke.

My nintendo ds lite has a neck fracture so it doesnt hold the spots as a usal one does and also the screen turns blue most of the time are these problems fixable?

I had the same prob 2!
This is what u do...
Take ur DS console to the shop u bought it from. Then they'll probably fix it like what they did 2 mine. If they cant fix it u might have 2 take it to Nintendo Customer Support and they'll probably take it to repair. If the problem is unfixable (85% chance its going 2 be fixed) They might have 2 replace it or unless if u have warranty or inurance u'll get the replacment for free...
I Hope this has helped u!

Scratched screen

Hello godom, It will depend on how bad is the scratch. For deeper scratches there isn't no fix. For smaller ones there is a specially made scrach fixing paste or something like this, that may be found in some computer stores or electronic/phone service centers. PLEASE NOTE ! Your display is a touchscreen type. The top part of your display - the one you touch, is not made of glass or plastic but a kind of polymer acrilic or similar based materials. Most scrach fixes work and are designed for plastic or glass surfaces. Please instruct or remind this to the person that will attempt the fix. Otherwise it can damage the touchscreen or reduce it's brightness or sharpness. Hope this helps.
