If you do not see water shooting out, there are a couple of things to check, open the case and remove the hose and check for debris --- the fitting itself could also be blocked, clear hose and fitting and re-install -- test --
if no water is flowing after that, then there could be a chance that the water pump impeller is bad, ( note: if water impeller is bad the motor will get hot and the over heat light will come on ' red ' ), turn off and replace the impeller.

Hayward pool pump leaking from underneath motor

The leak is an indicator the shaft seal has failed. It leaks by design to let you know to replace the seal before water gets into the motor and ruins it. Replace the seal right away.

New leeson 3 hp motor for my tablesaw has very little torque, and is less powerful than my old 1hp craftsman motor. What could the problem be?

If the motor is a 115/230 volt motor and is running on 115 volts but the wiring is configured for 230 volt operation, the motor will be weak.

1hp Water Ace dual jet water pump hums, doesn't pump

DOES YOUR NEW MOTOR HAVE A START CAPACITOR BUILT INSIDE OF IT TO HELP IT START. OR DOES IT REQUIRE A CAPCITOR START / RELAY BOX ABOVEGROUND. ALSO IF YOUR OLD MOTOR WAS 220V AND THE NEW ONE IS 115V YOU HAVE 2 HOT WIRES AND NO NEUTRAL. THE NEW MOTOR REQUIRES 1 HOT AND 1 NEUTRAL. HOPE THIS HELPS, JODY

Pump trips circuit braker as soon as it is turned on

The problem is either in the spa or the circuit breaker itself is faulty. I would begin by changing the circuit breaker as it is much cheaper than a new pump.

JVC AL-E300 Turntable

More than likely your motor might be bad. There is nothing else that controls the speed. Are you sure you purchased the correct size belt? Turn on the unit, without connecting the belt, and touch the motor shaft, and see if it fluctuates. You can also just get a marker, and marker a point on the motor shaft. When you turn it on, it will act as a visual indication as to it's speed.
