Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54GS Router (e125894)
You have the choice of using the installation program on the CD that came with the router or connecting to the router and then using your browser to go to:
and then log in with password "admin" (no username).
Once in to the web page for the router, you'll want to set up the basic wireless and security settings.
On the basic setting page, change the SSID to something unique and change the administrator password to something other than "admin".
On the security page, enable WPA2 security and provide a passphrase to use. Make sure that you write down the passphrase and the administrator passwords for future reference.
This should get you set-up enough to know that your network is secure.
Note that after you change the SSID and the admin password, you will have to first find the new SSID and connect to it again and also supply the new administrator password.
Thanks for using FixYa and Happy New Year.

Reset There are two ways to reset the Router's
factory defaults. Either press and hold the Reset
Button for approximately five seconds, or restore
the defaults from Administration > Factory
Defaults in the Router's web-based utility.
There should be a small hole with a red circle around it on the back of the router next to the power plug hole. Use a pin or straighten paper clip to push the tiny button.

Just try with putting admin it is default password or you can try to put password as password. If it is work then great otherwise you have to reset the setting .in router there is one small hole just insert any pin inside and press it all the light will flash that means it is reset to factory setting and all the setting which is saved is erase . now access the router with default ip 192.168.1.1 and do the setting according to the internet .
Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Have a good day.
