Question about HP Pavilion dv6345us Notebook PC
The screen may be toast, OR the computer may be set to send the video to the auxiliary output on the back of the computer.
I think the key combination to change where the video goes on that computer is Fn-F4. Press that a couple of times with the computer on, and see if your video comes back.
If that's not the right key combination, I'm sure the right one is in the manual, which will be available on HP's web site.
