Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

1 Answer

My xbox 360 elite takes forever to start and when it does it goes so slow. Plus it shows my profile as having nothing like I just made it or it shows nothing at all. Then when I go to my memory it says my hard drive needs to be formatted when I have had it for over a year. I have only gotten the red ring once a couple of months ago but after unplugging everything and restarting it, it worked again but now more problems have been occurring since

You probably need to start a new profile.. a good thing to do is set up a usb device to hold your stats/achievements/saved data

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My xbox 360 elite worked fine i played it fine then turned it off and went down stairs for dinner came up tryed to play nothings happening the power wont even turn on please i need your ideas on it because...

first try elevating your whole power cord, then make sure its plugged into the wall.
It may be that it needs clean power, and some cheap surge protectors cant supply this forever.

Xbox 360 hard drive problems help plz read.

it sounds like a major Technical defect with the HDD that could happen on old HDD's. How long have you had the HDD for? If it's new, you should be able to take it back to the retailer and request a replacement. If not, check to see if it is still under the Microsoft warrenty. If it is, contact xbox support and they will ask you to send it to them for repair (unfortunately). Make sure you don't move them about too much either - they're traditional HDD's, not SSD's that microsoft use with the 360. However, if it isn't covered at all (i.e. it's a very old drive) you may have to take the plunge and get a new HDD.
I know, it hurts, but at least it isn't the RROD.

Xbox 360 Pauses during gameplay

Your xbox was probably heavily overheated before you purchased it, I repair xboxs and have seen this that after about 6 months of getting a repaired Xbox another error will come up. The temperature sensor in the CPU is probably broken, that is why your fan runs hard. your hard drive is fine. as far as the xbox goes.... probably toast.
