Remove the new graphics card and use the onboard VGA output from the mother board. Make sure the cable is mounted all the way in - sometimes the connection is loose.

Monitor says no video signal, not even from the onboard card. Do I need to get the DVI Graphics-SI card? I didn't get one with this refurbished board. I have tried PCI and PCI Express cards.

1) Monitor plugged into the VGA connector on the motherboard, (Rear Panel), you should get a display.
This is with the proper settings in BIOS.

Reset BIOS back to the factory default settings, and clear CMOS Error Codes.

Unplug the computer from power. (Monitor plugged into VGA connector on motherboard. No graphics card installed)
Press the Power On button in, and hold it in for a count of 5 seconds. (Count 1001, 1002, 1003, etc.)
Let go of the Power On button.
Do this procedure 2 more times.

Plug the computer back into power, wait 1 minute, turn the computer on.

If you get OnBoard graphics now is the time to install the drivers for the graphics card.
Then close all windows, turn the computer off, unplug from power.
OBSERVE Anti-Static Precautions and physically install the graphics card.

Still no?
Time to enter BIOS Setup, and see what graphics settings you have.
(When the post screen comes up press the F2 key)

On the main page use the Right Arrow key to highlight - Advanced - at the top of the screen.
Press the Enter key.

Use the Down Arrow key to highlight - Chipset Configuration
Press the Enter key.

Initiate Graphics Driver should have - PCIE - to the right of it.
This stands for PCI Express. This is the factory default setting.

Internal Graphics Mode Select should have - Auto - to the right of it.
With it set to Auto;
The OnBoard graphics will be automatically disabled when a graphics card is installed.
The OnBoard graphics will be enabled when a graphics card is Not installed.

This is the download page from AsRock Support, for the User Manual for the AsRock ConRoe 945G DVI motherboard,

http://www.asrock.com/mb/manual.asp?Model=ConRoe945G-DVI

On this page click on Click Here to the right of User Manual, after you have chosen what country that is nearest yours.
Allow time for the PDF file to download. (Sometimes up to 30 seconds, and additional time may be needed to fully download the file)

I would also like to know what Power Supply you're using, and if you are sure beyond a doubt that it is a Good unit.

Regards,
joecoolvette

Acer x136w monitor, no signal. Connected parralel conector to back of computer. no signal..tried everything I know to do. Even stupidly pirchased driver whiz. nothing. ready to through monitor into th e...

No signal message on your LCD monitor screen means that your monitor is not receiving any signal from your PC graphic card. This problem "no signal" have nothing to do with the drivers installations. Have you check whether your graphic card is faulty or your cable connection properly connected/secured? ie VGA (D-sub). As far as I know there are no parallel connectors for PC Monitor connectors only, VGA(D-sub), DVI or HDMI cable interface.

Try to connect your monitor to another PC, just to test whether the LCD monitor is functional.

Hope it helps.

Nothing shows up in the monitor even the cpu on

Install a new graphics card and plug your monitor into that new video card. Do u get video output? If not, the problem is the system board. If u do, the problem was the graphics card.

Installed the board, scren displays message no signal and stays black. no peeps or beeps. usb has power so do drives and signal leds

Check the cable between your monitor and computer. If this is a new install and you have added a graphics card, you will need to boot up once using the on-board VGA. Doing so will allow you to turn off the on-board VGA in the BIOS. Then you can shut down and move the monitor cable to the new graphics card and reboot.

No monitor signal

have you tried checking the monitor to another computer? it could be the monitor?
if not, could be the graphics/video card, or even the motherboard itself could be faulty!

Monitors wont work

It appears that you have a faulty graphics card.
If the graphics card is integrated with the motherboard then it cannot be repaired. Just purchase a new AGP graphics card, insert it into the AGP slot and connect your monitor to this card.
You may need to go to the BIOS setup to disable the on-board graphics card.
If you don't have an integrated graphics card, then buy a replacement graphics card.
You will need to install the new graphics drivers after installing the graphics card.

I have a HP s3020n slimline the pc is running but not sending any signal to the monitor

Well... try un-plugging the VGA cable... ie., the monitor cable behind the tower...... if u get a message on screen saying No VGA Input... can confirm there is no issues with the monitor...

if you are using graphic card in computer unplug that and connect the VGA cable to normal display card came along with the computer and try...

or if you have another monitor... u can try connecting that to the tower which is not sending the signal to monitor and try....

even then you get the same problem... get an new graphic card... (if you dont have other monitor try with new graphic card)
