Question about Viking Cooktops
There is the possiblity that you have a switch that is stuck as well i had a ge cafe that when you turned on one burner all burners would spark after along process of replacing the spark modulator and every ignitor in the unit i used a voltage meter on the wiring and found that power was going past one switch to the ingitor when the switch had red that it was off after taking the switch apart i had found that on the inside of the switch the mteal contact at one point had arched and was fused to the other side so when you turned on any switch the power would also run through that switch that even though it showed it was off it was still on on the inside of the switch if you are not used to conducting electrical tests on an appliance i would ask that you call a technician this is a very elaborate testing process and should not be carried out by a non trained indiviual if you have any further questions message me back and when we conclude this chat please remember to rank how this opinion has helped as well thanks again
