Tv screen has little white dots at bottom of screen tryed cleaning both sides of screen mirror in back of tv and bolb lens any other ideas?

Your DLP chip is going bad.
This is a known problems with these set.
It is an involved process to change it out; I suggest a repairman.
However, if you are handy you can try to do it yourself ; just be careful when removing the DMD board.
The part costs about $200.

The protector circuit is on on my samsung dlp tv and the screen has no picture

You probably need a new projector bulb. Google up your model and buy the best warranteed one you can find. Buy a "caged assembly" and not just a bare bulb.

Then unplug your tv and get a screwdriver. Follow your model's instructions and just snug down the electrical screws. Do not overtighten them.

Then consult your manual on how to reset the lamp timer so it knows you put a new bulb in and fires up from the first try.

Treat yourself because you've just saved yourself a trip from a repairman!!

My Samsung 50'' DLP msg "Check Fan No. 3"

You can attempt to remove the back cover, but there is a very delicate mirror in the back. I'd just move it away from the wall, used compressed air to clean out the fans, and put everything back together. Just make sure you don't damage the color wheel or light engine.

I am missing red color on my samsung 61" dlp tv

I bought this tv March of 2008, and Feb 2009 light engine went out, confirmed by TV repairman. Went through samsung directly.. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! No longer make this part, took 6 months to tell me that, after order went to 4 different repair companies. Finally, they offered $1770 to replace tv.. and weeks later, received a call that it was not approved so they offerred $1200. Still waiting for this check.. paid $2399 for this tv, still owe $1100!!! Samsung has worst customer service ever and do not stand behind their products. If you find replacement part for this tv, please post.. the part is expected to cost $850 and has to be professionally installed at $300.

Check High Voltage.

Your high voltage side of the board is not kicking on.

And by the way , televisions are an obsolete item of the past.

You can go get a nice USB TV , plugs right into your computer.

and whats better is you no longer have to look at that repairmans but ! lol
