If the capacitor is blue in colour and disk shaped, there is your fault. Good work!
Change it, the value should be between 1nF and 2.7nF at more than 2KV, and you will restore your TV (if nothing else is wrong).

There are several.

- Logic board
- Timing Control (TCON) board

TV clicking on and off with colored screens and noises, not power supply capacitors this time.

Sounds like a main board fault. Contact any service technician to confirm. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy.

Vizeo plasma tv takes several time to start then picture flickers badly for a minute or two. After this, the TV comes on and functions normally until turned off. What should I look for?

Good day!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

TV won't come on. Blue light blinks, but TV does not come on?

Same exact problem, same exact model the FLM-2601. I followed the steps from a you tube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqZG1F_h1CA and had no difficulties removing & replacing the 25 watt capacitors with new 35 watt capacitors, after a quick $10 radio shack shopping spree. The most difficult & time consuming part of the task was removing the housing & its numerous screws, of various thread type, length & diameter...needless to say it is possible. Only 3 extra screws remained after the set was working again. The television is working great again & was well worth taking the time to research the problem and find a solution that I was comfortable in performing myself. I didn’t think my soldering was that great of a job, but the television works great.

If it's failing to turn on reliably, the main power supply is probably at fault and without some technical background and a couple of test instruments, you will not be able to do the repair yourself.
What you can do though is; unplug the set, let it stand overnight or at least several hours, remove the back panel and look for a separate board with mostly larger components on it; it will have a ferrite core (no laminations as with a line-frequency part) transformer on it and several larger capacitors which are cylindrical and mounted vertically to the board.

Before touching anything inside, especially on that board, allow several hours to be safe since the larger capacitors can hold a painful voltage charge for some hours.

If you see signs of overheating such as discoloration of the board material, it may not be repairable but if you can find a part number on the board, you might be able to buy the power supply and install it yourself but it will likely have the same problem eventually unless they have altered the design.
If there are no signs of heat damage to the board, there may be companies offering to repair it as a subassembly instead of repairing the whole set which could be much more expensive.
If you choose to replace or have it done, the power supply still may not be at fault since most are capable of switching on and off if a downstream problem is causing an overload.
