My LG TROMM Hot water continually fills even after machine is turned off and unplugged. I have to shut off water supply to stop it.

Unplug the washer removing all electrical power from the machine. Turn the water back on and confirm that water is still entering the machine.

If the condition is true no power to washer and water enters machine it is very likely that the fill solenoid has failed.

this part is not that difficult to replace.

Sounds like a faulty Solonoid valve more so since it still happens with the machine unplugged. Not too expensive repair new part to buy around 15 pounds. Not sure in dollars.

Water will not shut off after starting

If water keeps running even if the unit is unplugged than the water solenoid valve has become defective.

if the water stops when power is off than there is a problem with either the timer or the fill switch. My bet is on the timer.

Always be careful when opening the top cover. you will be exposing wires. power must be turned off at the breaker or the unit unplugged.

G.E. Profile washer water wont shut off.

The valve in the machine is stuck open. It's not a hard part to replace if you can figure out how to get into the machine but expect it to be a $200 job if you have to call someone out for it.

If I choose to have the water full to either large or even a medium level. It keeps feeling up and won't turn off. keeps running water. Why?

If water won't shut off even if you unplug the washer, then the water valve is likely stuck and will need to be replaced. If the water shuts off when water level switch is on low, but overflows when set on medium or high, it is more often the water level switch itself. Before replacing, be sure the tube going to the side of the tub is clear and not kinked. Remove the tube from the switch and blow thru it, reattach and try filling again. If it works, you should be ok, if not then replace water level switch.

Water stays on constantly without shutting off even though it is full of ice.

Water solenoid is bad and needs replacement. Unplug it and see if it still fills. If yes it's bad. If no, you have a bad timer.
