CFS stands for "Call for Service". The thermostat will automatically display CFS after 3000 hours of operation. After service, run the unit. If automatically CFS would have disappeared. If not remove batteries and reset it. Helpful?

See this manual for the system, page 13. It tells you to hold "NO" on the panel for 6 seconds until it disappears.

i would have to say replace the t-stat. did they change the filter. did they check the evap coil. did they clean the condenser coil. your supply temp should be at least 20 deg colder then your return temp. do you have an attic fan and is it working. is your unit over 15 years old the consider a system replacement. is the unit sized correct. every 400 sq foot of house you should have a ton of cooling. also can you feel drafts at your windows. all thing why your house could be warm. also check your ticket and see what your super heat was it should be 9-12 hope this helps.

The cooled air is coming out at a very weak rate. The ac unit outside is blowing out cool air when the neighbor's is blowing out warm air. The house is just not getting cool. AC has been on for 4 days...

Turn off your A/C and put your fan switch in ON or FAN. Run the fan only for approx 3 hours. Check your air filter and clean/replace as necessary. Also check your evaporator coil and clean if necessary. It is possible that your evaporator coil is frozen up from a dirty filter or coil. If it continues to be a problem, you probably have a refrigerant problem which will require a certified service technician to address. Try taking care of the filter and coil first. :-)

Assuming you have A/C on this system, I would look to see if the evaporator is plugged with dust from a failed filter.

That causes the exact symptoms that you describe, assuming the filter is clean and all supply and return vents are open as the system was designed to operate.

Let me know what you find or you rthoughts and I can give you instruction on how to clean. One indication it's the evap being plugged is buildup on the blower blades. That will need to be cleaned too.
