If you can get the GPRS connection:

To activate the modem you install a USB data cable, install the driver to your laptop (from the Motorola website)

Then goto control panel->network places->create new connection->click connect to internet->click dail up modem->then ISP name->further setting!

Gprs

Hi,
Your network operator will send you the settings to your device automatically if your mobile is supported.

To configure the settings manually, you need to call to your mobile operator's customer care and they can provide you help to configure your device with their network specific settings.

Having proper settings is not only enough to access the NET but also you should have proper GPRS subscription activated for your mobile number by the operator. Contact your network operator for activating a plan.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Please rate the the solution provided.
Thanks

Hi,

PLEASE SEE CINGULAR SUPPORT SITE WHICH HAS THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIN XP
https://www.cingular.com/support/setDevice.do?universe=cingular&make=Samsung&model=Blackjack&x=16&y=10

Solution Details
Setup of Samsung i607 to Laptop Windows XP using Samsung USB Data Cable for GPRS

Samsung USB Cable with accompanied software installed on the PC

User should be logged in as Administrator or have administrator privileges in the profile to modify system files

PC with available USB port

Setting up the handset

Scroll to Settings and press OK.
Scroll to More... and press OK.
Scroll to Connections and press OK.
Scroll to More... and press OK.
Scroll to USB and press OK.
Scroll right to Modem and press Done.

Setting up the modem

On the PC, connect the Samsung USB Cable from the side of the handset to the USB port on the PC.

Connect your phone with the USB cable, go to Start, Applications, File Explorer then navigate to the Windows folder. Open it up and scroll down to Internet Sharing ( press the letter L on the keypad a couple of times to get you close to it and minimze scrolling), Select OK once you're on Internet Sharing. Once opened, on PC Connection select USB. Then press the left softkey for Connect. That's it. Your PC should now be connected through your phone. There are no settings on you PC to mess with. This will work with a Bluetooth connection to the PC as well

ps: It will work for XP ...for Vista or any other OS i am not 100% sure

I have a moto q with internet access. When i use my internet

Check the USB port where you connect it using a pen drive whether the port is working or not.
The synchronizer software might not be designed for the windows vista operating system.
These two might be the causes for your problem.

I have a t-mobile sim card, but my phone is htc touch pro. The phone works fine, the only problem is I can not send or recieve text messages. My question is does anyone have the MMS settings for the Unicel...

You need the T-Mobile settings if you are using a T-Mobile SIM. assuming you are in US as Unicel not over her in UK so the settings are:

T-Mobile GPRS settings (T-Mobile EDGE settings) T-Mobile GPRS/EDGE settings for terminals (e.g., phone handsets). Some items are possibly Nokia-specific. I have found the authentication type can be either Secure or Normal. These settings should be useful for T-MobileWeb users.
APN: wap.voicestream.com IP address: 216.155.165.050 Data bearer: GPRS Username: [none] Password: [none] Authentication type: Secure Connection security: Off
APN is the GPRS Access Point Name.
T-Mobile GPRS/EDGE modem settings T-Mobile GPRS/EDGE network settings when using a device as a GPRS "modem", that is, when "tethered" to another device. Examples include connection via Dial Up Networking (DUN) Bluetooth profile, or via Universal Serial Bus (USB). These settings should be useful for T-Mobile Internet users.
APN: internet2.voicestream.com Username: voicestream Password: [none] SMTP server: myemail.t-mobile.com
APN is the GPRS Access Point Name.
