Question about Samsung HP-R4262 42 in. Plasma Television
Had the same exact problem. The customer service people at samsung were **** and had no clue. After doing some research I narrowed ti down to two potential problems. First one was check for the blown capacitors on the power suplly board. You can find lots of forums on this and is a very well known problem with samsung. Second, which was my fix, is try the firmware update for your TV from the samsung website. The rpoblem was fixed in 30 seconds and no money spent. The clicking and tv on and off problem is gone. Good Luck.
