I would suspect you have a bad A/C compressor. When you engage the A/C, the clutch locks up the pulley which kills your motor from the drag on the belt. Replace the compressor, evaporator and valve, then recharge system to 55 psi.

replace the ptc overload relay on the compressor as this component helps start and protect the compressor from overload, simply unplug and plug in a replacement

I have the Ingersoll Rand Model # DD2T2, WAS WORKING GREAT, NOW IT HAS STOPED WAS THROWING BREAKER IN SWITCH BOX NOW IT HAS STOPED ALL TOGETHER, MOTER CAN BE TURMED BY HAND BUT WILL NOT RUN AT ALL.

If the motor turns by hand, but the breaker is tripping does not preclude a bad motor. Could be nothing more than a capacitor on the motor itself. If the breaker you speak of is on the unit itself, could be bad. If it is in the electric panel, motor capacitor is the first place to look.

This happens when the condenser gets plugged or the condenser fan fails. This leads to a compressor failing which is probably what has happened to you.
