Most of the new models are comming without CDS all the required files are loaded in your another partition. You have to press f11 or anyother key which your laptop manufacturer setted for restoring your laptop to factory default. Please note that all your data will be losed when you restore becauze it will format itself.
You can also fix your conflicts while logging to the safe mode by pressing F8 key before the windows logo screen appears.

Failure ID: GUWKM1-67V6KB-MFKTOJ-4OORO3

Hi, please provide more details.
Is this failure in the software or windows or start up screen?
In Windows: Restore your windows to earlier date, or re-install Windows using recovery DVDs or PC boosters software or registry cleaner software to clear some bad data.
In software: Uninstall software or hardware drivers or use system restore;
in start up or bios screen:
Check if the battery survived or not and if its OK, some certified experts must check your hardware and you may have a hardware conflict.
Kind regards

When i turn my computer on it lets me put in the password but doesnt get passed loading settings. please help me

Did this just happen recently? Have you recently installed a new software or hardware in your computer? because sometimes when you installed a new software or hardware that is not compatible with the software/hardware installed in your computer conflict may arise and malfunction may follow but no worries there are a lot of trouble shooting steps you can do to fix this issue.

If its Hardware, try to remove the new hardware first then turn your computer on and check if it works.

If its Software, you can go to safemode and uninstall the new software you just installed to eliminate conflicts.
To go to safe mode:
1. Restart your computer first and keep pressing F8 immediately after the screen starts then choose Safe Mode
2. Go to control panel to uninstall the new Software then restart computer again and check if it works.

If the above steps doesn't work then you have an option to restore your computer back to a previous date. You can click HERE to give you the steps on how to do a system restore.

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

My volume control doesnt work.

The volume control of your computer is not accessible because the Sound Device Software is not properly installed.

Check the System Properties for Installed Device in your computer:
  1. From your Desktop Screen, click on Start Menu
  2. Choose, Run ( In Windows Vista, Start Menu > Accessories > Run )
  3. Type, sysdm.cpl ( to open the System Properties Windows)
  4. In System Properties choose the Hardware tab
  5. Click the Device Manager button
All Hardware Device are listed in the Device Manager.

Install the missing driver for sound device, refer the software from the CD driver of your laptop.

Alternative Software Driver is also available through the Acer Support Download Website.

In Service Support Page, select your location to proceed.

In the software driver downloads, it is important to select the right model of your laptop and the operating system you're using to avoid system errors and driver conflicts.

On Startup of my Panasonic CF52, It shows the blue Panasonic screen, then the windows loading screen, then it goes into a bright gray colored screen. It doesnt do anything more. Tried to restart and hit F8...

This is usually a problem associated with NOD32 or Cisco software conflicting with drivers or other software. If you can get past the grey screen even once, uninstall the software and reboot. If you can't get past the grey screen at all, then you might have to completely reinstall windows :(.

I'd look for professional hands-on help in this case if you're not comfortable doing this.

Starts up till time to put in users name blacks out tryes to restart then repeats same thing

installed anything new? hardware? software?

sounds like a conflict problem, if new hardware installed, try removing it.
if new software installed, boot in safe mode (press F8 while booting, and choose safe mode). or maybe a corrupted registry file, you will need to repair it or reinstall system.

Shuts off at boot up screen?

Start the computer in safe mode (tap F8 immediately after turning it on until you see the option of how to boot)

If it successfully boots into windows, you have an issue with either driver conflicts and/or viruses. If it still restarts itself, you most likely have a hardware issue (bad hard drive, motherboard, etc)

URGENT CALL:- Critical Error that keeps restarting system?

Definately not a "major issue"... it is a Software issue rather than a Hardware issue...
And most likely a conflict with your ActiveX controls...

Try This....
Go to Start...Programs......Windows Update..enable if disabled.. and it will search for updates and hopefully install the SP1 update...
This update download apparently has patches for the exact error you have and that is a typical Vista "hiccup" error....

try that, if it doesnt help still, we can go from there..
