Question about GE Washing Machines
If the water doesn't turn off even if machine unplugged it is the fill valve. This you can fix yourself. It costs around $10. If water does stop when turned off or unplugged it is probably the water level switch. This is also fairly simple to fix. It is the switch that you select the water level with. There is at least 3 wires and an air hose. If your machine does not let you select the water level , just look for a small hose from the bottom of the tub. This will lead to the switch.
