I would suggest taking it to your nearest Apple store or authorized Mac retailer. They are the only ones who can really work on it.

C key is sunken down. The hammer action counterbalance isn't working properly

Check it again. It may have something dragging on the key, maybe something sticky like soda or juice residue. You can also try swapping out the key with another C or F key that is less used. Good luck!

Hi

Unfortunaltey you have liquid in the mouse pad area, unfortunatley there is no quick fix.

The laptop will need to be booked into a reputable PC shop for repair

Laptop mouse problem

This is a common problem with laptops, unfortunately, there is no real solution of fixing the touch pad.
The best solution is to use an external usb mouse.
I recomend an optical mouse, they cost about 5 US dollars.

The mouse on my laptop wont move

Boot up into safe mode and see if your mouse works. If it doesn't, then it is probably defective. If it works, then it would be a configuration issue in the normal side of the o/s. See if that will help you narrow it down. If the mouse pad is defective, it may not be worth fixing, just go out and buy a small usb laptop mouse. Good luck. -Carlos:

Stiff trackball rotation

Are you sure the metal support nubs have flattened? My experience has been that either they slowly sink into the plastic or that the upper and lower plastic nub supports wear down (which tends to make the ball loose in the carrier assembly). Either way, when the ball gets sticky for me I ensure the metal nubs and the sunken areas around them are clean, then clean the ball with water and find a soft cloth to buff the ball until it is not sticky.

If the metal nubs have indeed flattened you may wish to try removing them and putting them in with the flat side toward the plastic (so you have the round side facing out) - this is assuming they are completely round.

I wish I had a better answer for you. I've have several of the MS TB Optical and only one lasted for a more than a year or so (before the problems mentioned above cropped up). Sadly they are nearly impossible to find and usually very expensive if you can find a new one.

Now if I could only find a way to fix the sudden rapid up/down scrolling mine does occasionally. I've taken it apart and cleaned everything but it still does it :(
