Question about Sony DHG-HDD250 200-Hours Video Recorder
I purchased a used Sony DHG-HDD250. Upon initial startup, it goes into demo mode and I can not exit it to watch regular TV. It shows a continuous loop of a demonstration video. I have not been able to access any on-screen menu to disable it. I have reset the unit by pressing 'Exit' and 'TV guide' simultaneously for 10 seconds, however when the unit resets it goes back into loop mode. Is there a way to get out of demo mode? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
To deactive demo mode press menu on the remote...then w/that screen up push the screen mode little gray button at the top of the remote...note that this will not change anything on the screen...i know weird huh...now type in the numbers 9012 you should now be at a new menu the top opption is demo mode...choose it and then choose on or off...good luck i see this i an old post but i hope it helps someone...
