Question about Home

1 Answer

I have a Leisure Bay S-2 spa that I cannot adjust the temp on. The display reads 88:88am/pm which doesn't relate to any function on the tub. I am not able to bring up any menu or change any settings. Everything else works including pump, lights, blower, heater, etc. This is only a problem because I need to increase the temp by 4 degrees in order to be comfortable outside. HELP!!! Thanks David Uher

    David,
what brand of control box are we dealing with here? is is made by Balboa? if so what is the model number of the control box?

  • uherkoch Jan 13, 2011

I have no idea what brand the control is as it only reads Leisure Bay Spas on the label. I could scan a picture of it if I had an email address for you or suggest where I might find other numbers. I really appreciate any help you can offer.
    Thanks, David Uher

the model number of the control box will be on the top of the box or towards the top on the backside of the box.

Older leisure bay tub. only a few buttons on topside panel work as they should. temp control buttons switch from economy to standard, cant raise or lower temp. Topside panel or control board?

Top side control. 90% sure by your description of problem. Buy the topside, plug it in and try it before you do full install. If it doesn't work you can return it. Most places won't take back a PC Board.

Dont know what the name of my leisure bay hot tub is model number on pump says spo7211nca

Okay, those numbers mean nothing, and it's just pertaining to a electric motor that is attached to a wet end, which makes up a pump.
what is your question for this forum, if you are seeking assistance? Do you have a problem with this spa?

Leisure bay spa , will not go from SL mode , temp stays @ 82 degrees?

This appears to be the sleep mode, which is a freeze protection mode. You need to get your owner manual out and change the mode to standard so it will heat.

My leisure bay spa will not heat past 86 degrees.

If your spa will not heat up to the 104 degrees or what temperature you set it at then you have a bad temp sensor.

You have a faulty spa pack. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it will cost you more than what the spa is worth to fix it. Since this post is from May of last year I'm sure you found that out already. If I'm correct give me an endorsement so people know that I can help them. Thanks!
