SOURCE: I own a Vauxhall Vectra

Possible that the garage had disconnected the battery terminals and so the radio has reset. You will need to check with the Vauxhall agency /dealership for the said codes or check up on your service book for the codes -- it will be normally written on your book. If not check the data base of the car in your dealership.

Press ON and AS together...and leave SWITCHED ON..UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.

Hi, Vauxhall Vectra 53 Plate 1800 SXi - alarm sounds without apparent reason, usually in the early hours ?? What may be the fault please ? Thank you

it can be a faulty battery in the alarm unit. when the battery is not charging for whatever reason it send a trigger and the alarm will set off. has been a problem on some vauxhalls over the years. would have it checked out as it can get worse.

My vauxhall vectra 2005 won't go into gear when stuck in heavy traffic

Hello Vince Libby,

Several decades now we have not enjoyed seeing Vauxhalls here in the USA ... (wow... nothing (could not even rule-out and AUTOMATIC TRANNY)...

If so = FLUID Level... (also means poor maintenance).
((always keep automatic fluid clean... EVERYTHING lasts longer)).

Else (manual tranny)

But I can give you my EXPERIENCED opinion on your
COMBINATION of SYMPTOMS...

Well... I thought I could

Suffice to say I was going after your clutch slave
... If you've been experiencing any oil loss or spots...
You are most likely not fully engaging your clutch...

Sadly eBay (UK) was the only site that gave me a CLUE
what your "CLUTCH SLAVE" even looks like...

If you are losing any oil (or don't know (check there first).

Hope this helps

Do you have the radio code for the vauxhall vectra 2.0m 16V

All radio codes for vauxhall standard units are displayed on the car pass , which you should have with your car as it also has the vehicles engine codes as well as key number. if you have lost or misplaced yours then you can ontain a new pass from your local vauxhall dealership, Cost is normally £25. Alternativley you can try to get the unit decoded for around the same kind of money from your local car audio shop, if you don't fancy that you could always upgrade to an aftermarket unit.

Lost radio code for vauxhall vectra radio vdo cdr2005

Unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes (including your CDR2005) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database…which is not commercially available..

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

How do i remove a stereo from a vauxhall vectra model cdr 2005

never done one before but if like all other vauxhalls there is 4 grub screws. you need allen key to take out. New vauxhall has wider pin holes than old type so you'll need to cut wire coat hanger into to U shaped bits insert into each side from were you removed the grub screws. slighlty push the wire away from each other and try and grab a slot or something on the face of the radio to pull out. When you have done this look into the cage of the radio and in the back there should be a screw or bolt normally 8mm to remove. Cage should come out then. Disconect plugs from cage and ready fro new radio.
