If the tub is filling when off then you'll need to replace the water valve.

Kenmore Washer model # 11082692120 is Leaking as it is filling the tub with water. It is leaking at the base of the machine on both sides and in the front bottom. it was gradual at first now it is leaking...

The leak is likely coming from a broken drain pump or detached pressure hose. Remove the machine cabinet to access and look at these areas.

Unplug the machine then release the console from the top of the cabinet. Remove the screws securing the console then pull forward and up and lay it back on the hinges.

Disconnect the lid switch h
arness connector by pressing on the tab located in the middle and pulling it up.

jahn27_425.jpg

The cabinet is attached to the rear of the washer
by two brass-colored retaining clips. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the turned-up edge of the clip, located on both sides, and then pry back to release the clip from the slot in the cabinet.

jahn27_426.jpg

Open and hold the lid while grabbing
the cabinet front opening then tilt the top of the cabinet toward you by pulling the cabinet away from the base. This releases the front and back slots of the cabinet from the tabs in the front and back of the base

jahn27_427.jpg

Using the side of your leg and/or body
as a support for the front of the cabinet, carefully lift up the cabinet and set it aside.

jahn27_428.jpg

Replace the drain pump(part number
3363394) if it's leaking. Pry the clips securing the pump to the motor off and remove the pump.

jahn27_429.jpg
jahn27_431.jpg

Remove the hoses from the pump and connect it to the new pump and install it back in place in reverse order of the removal steps.
Bring the cabinet to the front of the washer then slide the front bottom rail of the cabinet under the rail at the base of the machine then lay down the cabinet into position. Make sure the slots in the cabinet sit into the tabs at the base of machine. Reconnect the lid switch harness then push the retaining clips back down into position to secure the cabinet to the rear of the machine. Reinstall and secure the console to complete the repair.

I have light yellowish green fliud coming from back of the jeep i only see it on snow

open the coolant overflow tank under the hood. if fluid is the same color, you have a coolant leak somewhere towards the front which is running along something and dripping off at the back.
if not the same color then open your washer tank and check that fluid for color match. if the same then your washer system has a leak, could be front or rear if it has rear washer

MY front load washer is leaking from under the washer. I have tried doing the monthly cleaning as it states in manual but this has done nothing.

There are several possibilities--the rubber seal between the cabinet doorway and the outer drum may be pulling loose or is punctured in some way. If the cabinet has a removable lower panel on the front, take it off and inspect the pump, the water hose from the drum to the pump, and the drain hose that runs from the pump out the back to the house drain for any possible leaks. If the leak occurs when the tub is filling with water, the hose that runs from the water inlet solenoids to the tub may be split or pulling loose. Open the cabinet top to check this. Hope this helps!

You will need to remove the cabinet from around the washer and run it to see where the leak is coming from. Below is a video to show you how to open the washer.

Washing machine is leaking water

The easiest way to find this problem is to remove the outer case so you can see where the leak is coming from. This washer has a very cool design to get into the mechanism. Unplug the washer. The top console,(where the controls are), flips up. Usually you have to take out two screws on each of the front corners of the console and then pull the console forward and up until it flips upside down. Disconnect the lid switch wiring harness, this is usually a three wire plastic connector. Don't confuse it with the power cord plug, If you are not sure then follow the power cord where it enters the washer and you will see which one is its terminal connector plug. Take a large flat screw driver and stick it into the left and right hand slots that have the brass retainer clips . You stick the screwdriver straight down and then pry the clips out by pushing back on the screwdriver. Remove both clips, grab the outer washer cabinet and tip it towards you, at a 45 degree angle you can slide the front of the cabinet out from under the base and remove the whole cabinet. Plug the washer back in. Now you can start the fill cycle and look for leaks. Usually it is going to come from the water pump or the fill valve. If the washer fills and agitates with no leaks then you will have to unplug the washer again, jumper the lid switch wiring block, and plug the washer back in so you can test the pump out and spin cycle. Be very careful as you now have a high speed spin with no safeties, to keep you from reaching into the mechanism and getting your arm ripped off. Look for the leak and unplug the unit. Replace the bad part and reinstall the case, making sure that the back side corners of the case are pushed inwards and sitting on the base plate. Reinstall the clips by hooking them into the back panel first and then pushing down on the clip until it clicks in place. Plug your wiring harness back in, flip the console basck down and reinstall its screws. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Not sure if manifold is leaking

Leaks water...check the pump first. The fill valve and hoses may be the next step. See how to take apart info. With the use of plastic drain hoses on many machines today, this has become a common leak trouble maker. The drain hose can rub the wall or a pipe and this will rub a hole in the drain hose.

Water leak at front of washer

You should have a drain at the bottom of the rubber boot inside the washer. There is a possibility the drain hose clamp came loose or the boot has a hole in it. If you take the front of the washer cabinet off, you should be able to see where the water is coming from. Take the two screws out of either side of the door opening, pull on both sides of the front panel at the same time, tilt downward, and the panel should come off.

Oil and water leak

Chances are they are not related if the water is clean. These units can run quite a while dripping small amounts of oil. The drain hose is a possibility but there are other places it can leak from. Call a local tech he can run the machine with the cabinet removed and should be able to find the source of the water leak. good luck

Cannot get the back off on my whirlpool LSL9244EQO washer to see where the leake is

The back panel does not come off, the cabinet comes off the base. Open and flip the control panel up, pop out the two gold clips, unhook the lid switch harness, and tip the cabinet toward yourself and pull off the base. Boo ya. The leak is goin' down.
