Hi,
On the inside on the cover plate behind the handle there will be two screws or the cover plate it's self will spin off to expose the screws....
If the cover plate needs to be removed to get to the screws you may have a hard time getting the cover to spin and turn to remove it...get something sticky like a rubber pad and use it to turn the cover CCW...
Once you get into the screws...remove them and then the whole lock assembly will just pull apart....be caref ul to observe how it comes apart so you can get it back to gether again...

Passat door 2006vw will not open from outside, but opens from inside

You need to get inside the door and reattach or replace the interior latch assembly that connects the handle to the latch release. This sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't and should take about 30 minutes to get the interior door panel off, repair the problem and get everything back together. The the door panel for any screws that maybe hidden under plastic caps and remove them. These are normally a #2 or #3 cross tip. Once those are removed use a flat screwdriver at the base of the door and pry up on the interior panel to separate the panel from the door, do this carefully and as you locate the push pins that hold the panel in place move the screwdriver close to the pin to do most of the prying. The closer you are to the pin the less damage is likely to happen to the door. These should pop out but are sometimes difficult. Once you have removed them the panel should lift off and you can access the latch mechanism and make repairs.

Problem with dual zone heating only one side i check control thermost botton is ok

Sounds like the blend door actuator. It separates the driver and passenger side from getting air on the AZC system. Here are some instructions on replacing it:
The passenger side blend door actuator is used on all models equipped with Automatic Zone Control (AZC). This actuator is located on the front of the HVAC housing to the right of the floor panel transmission tunnel and cannot be removed from the passenger compartment without instrument panel or HVAC housing removal.

NOTE: This procedure is for AZC Systems (Passenger side only).

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the glove box door. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim
  3. Remove the lower I/P glove box door surround panel.
  4. Remove the dash assembly. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Dashboard / Instrument Panel\Service and Repair\Instrument Panel Assembly
  5. Remove the HVAC assembly. See: Housing Assembly HVAC\Service and Repair
  6. Unplug the wire harness connector from the blend door actuator.
  7. Remove the 2 screws that secure the blend door actuator to the HVAC housing.
  8. Remove the blend door actuator from the HVAC housing.
INSTALLATION - AZC (Passenger side only)

  1. In stall the blend door actuator on the HVAC housing and tighten the two mounting screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
  2. Plug in the wire harness connector to the blend door actuator.
  3. In stall the HVAC unit into the vehicle. See: Housing Assembly HVAC\Service and Repair
  4. Install the instrument panel assembly into the vehicle. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Dashboard / Instrument Panel\Service and Repair\Instrument Panel Assembly
  5. Evacuate the HVAC system.
  6. Recharge the HVAC system.
  7. Connect and the battery negative cable.
Hope it helps! If you need more, just send me an email at familyguy77351 at yah I wil be glad to finish helping you with more detail.

How do you pull complete headlight assembly on a 1998 ford taurus

How to Replace a Headlight Bulb in a Ford Taurus

The Ford Taurus has one of thelongest production histories of any of Ford's mid- cars. You should check that the headlightson your Ford Taurus are working properly on a regular basis. When one of theheadlight bulbs burn out, replacing it is a simple repair you can performyourself. These steps apply only to the fourth generation Ford Taurus producedafter 2000.

1. Turn off your Ford Taurus, engage the parking brake and remove the keys fromthe ignition before beginning any repairs. Ensure that the headlights are offby double-checking you turned the interior control completely to the offposition. 2. Raise the hood by firstpulling up on the interior hood release latch located under the instrumentpanel on the left of the steering column. Walk around to the front of the car and release the auxiliary latchlocated at the front center of the hood. Raise the hood until the liftcylinders catch and hold the hood open on its own. 3. Unscrew the bolt from theheadlamp assembly by turning it counterclockwise. Use a screwdriver or pliersto pry up the retaining pins enough that you can pull them straight up and outwith either your hands or a pair of pliers. These pins are located at the backof the headlight assembly. 4. Pull the headlight assembly out from the front of the vehicle. Remove the protective dust shieldfrom the electrical connector and bulb assembly by turning it counterclockwiseand pulling it off. 5. Free the bulb assembly by disconnecting the electricalconnector and retaining ring. You can simply pull off the connector to removeit. The retaining ring requires a counterclockwise turn for removal. 6. Take out the old headlight bulb by pulling it straightout from the headlight assembly. 7. Install a new replacement bulb by pushing it straightin with the flat part of the bulb's base facing upward. Be sure that thegrooves in the plastic base of the bulb align properly with those in theheadlight assembly. 8. Reinstall the remaining components of the headlightassembly in reverse order of removal and check that the headlights are workingproperly. How do I remove the drivers window controls on a 2004 Mercedes Benz C240

Hi,

If you cannot see any bevelled edges to remove the master switch control, my suggestion would be the most common.... to remove all visible screws securing the interior panel to the door frame, e.g. behind door release handle, behind inside grip hande (as circled in photo), then slide & lift the interior door panel away slightly as one assembly, just enough to reveal any electrical wires.

Disconnect all wire looms from behind interior door panel...

Then, view switch assembly from behind the door panel, to determine best method to remove. Most modern switch assemblies are simply held in place by molded clips on the switch body, which need to be pushed out from behind.

Rear passenger electric window stuck in down position

That happened to mine, too. The cable that raises and lowers the window broke. I needed a new window motor assembly. If I recall, I got one used for less than $30, and I know I was able to replace it myself, curbside without special tools. You just need to make sure the window glass is taped up and unable to crash once you remove the old motor. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to remove the interior door assembly!
