SOURCE: tony hawk shred board will

I had the same problem. Do not use the batteries that come with the board. Use slightly older batteries and re-calibrate the board, this should work.

SOURCE: tony hawk shred board will

My husband was ready to throw this game out the window instead of returning it because he was so upset...so nice for our 10 year-old on Christmas morning. Researched online and lots of people said putting two older batteries into the board with two of the new ones. We did that and also had to move the couch into the hall and then it finally calibrated!! Don't give up keep trying everything but the two older batteries helped. Once it was calibrated we moved the couch back and it seems to work fine. So far it seems like a cool game!

SOURCE: I can't get my Tony

you need to sinc the xbox 360 to the shred board by pushing the connect button on the xbox directly under the circle power button and above the B slot. You really can see it but you have to get up close, after you hit connect to the xbox hit it lights up, you conect to your board with the small button. We were having the same issues and after we hit both connect buttons on the xbox and board we were good to go

we spent a day trying to calibrate the shred board, after much searching on the internet we found the solution that worked for us straight away was too - put two old and two new batteries in the board, we also elevated the board on a small stool this did the trick and now we can actually use it. Huray!!!

I just got tony hawk shred for christmas, and i'm trying to play it, but i cannot get past the initial calibration set up. i'm doing evrything it says, and even checked out all sorts of help sights, but...

I had the same problem. My son could not calibrate the board. However I called Activision and they said to not use the batteries it came with. Instead use older batteries and try calibrating again. I did this and it worked. If I would have known it would be that easy I would have tried that a long time ago. Hope this helps.

Cannot calibrate Tony Hawk Shred for Wii

I had the same problem. I solved it and got the board to calibrate immediately when I replaced the brand new batteries with used batteries. Brand new batteries apparently make the lasers very sensitive. You have less sensitive sensors with the used batteries. I just took some AA's out of my cable remotes. The game is awesome once you get it calibrated. I felt your pain for an hour or so.
