As long as you are within the 30-day return period and have a copy of your original store receipt, your local Best Buy™ store should still be able to assist you with a return or exchange on your MP3 player. Please keep in mind that if the product is defective and you are beyond the 30-day return period, you will need to file a claim through the Best Buy Product Replacement Plan (PRP) toll-free hotline instead at 888-539-6883.

well Hello Susan:

depends on where you bought the item from. If you still have the receipt of the item and it has not been more than 15 days should be able to return the item back get the full price back....back on your card or cash if you paid it in cash. Now like i said it all depends on where you bought it, some places might say 30 days from date of purchase... but you have to have the receipt but if not they might give you in store credit... but always call the place where you bought it to verify it to make sure. you also make sure you have the boxes or package it came in too to give back to them of the item. ooooh yes some places might even charge you for restocking fee for the item return too. so that is why said to call company or business what is there return policy. i hope this helps you. :)

I bought Nextar Q4-06 GPS from Khols last winter. Even though I don't use it a lot, I have problem turning it on. I plug it to my car for days to charge it incase it is out of electricity. Turned it...

How do I return an unwanted item and buy a replacement item. I purchased a Susan Boyle book which I thought was a biography and when it arrived it was a music manuscript book.

As long as the item is within 30 days based on the date of purchase, then you should have no problem returning this to Amazon. All you have to do is to go to their Return Center and fill out the information.

Before you do this, you might need to check too if you bought it directly from Amazon or thru Amazon Marketplace. Amazon Marketplace means that you bought it thru a reseller that displays their products in Amazon. In this case, you might need to contact the reseller directly.Phone numbers are usually located in the invoice you received. Never open the duplicate nor put any markings on its box. This will let resellers charge you a restocking fee which costs around 10-20%.

60GB ipod from best buy online as refurbished

Hello cslp,

I believe that you purchased the item online (based on the title of the post) but I am confused about your listing the product "as refurbished." Best Buy stores and the website do not sell refurbished iPods. We only sell new items, which I believe you item is new based on the fact that you say it was in a sealed box.

If you purchased the iPod from a Best Buy store you can get a full refund or exchange on the item within 30 days of purchase as long as you have the receipt and as long as the product is in new and resellable condition. If you purchased the product from then you can likewise make a return within 30 days or receiving the product.

If for some reason you are past the 30 day return period, there is a one-year manufacturers warranty on iPods. Your local Best Buy store should be assisting you in having the unit sent out for service under the warranty as long as the unit is under warranty.

The return period for most products sold through your local Best Buy™ store is 30 days, but please keep in mind that there are some exceptions. Monitors, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, video games purchased as used, desktop computers and notebook computers must be brought back to your local store within 14 days of purchase in order to be returned or exchanged.

Additionally, some products are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned opened and non-defective. Those products are notebook computers, camcorders, digital cameras, projectors, radar detectors, GPS navigation devices, and all mobile (in-vehicle) video systems. For special order products however, the restocking fee is 25%.

Remember that the restocking fee is only charged when the product is returned opened and non-defective - we are unable to waive this fee if you are simply dissatisfied with your purchase.

Pioneer pdp-6010 plasma popped loudly screen went blank flashing red light in lower left corner. will not come back on after unplugging/replugging just a flashing red light. brand new unit

Blew a transformer in the set. REATURN IT IF YOU CAN. Return it for the same tv. Pioneer makes the best plasmas in the world. This still cant contribute for the product of mass production. Defects will always arise in the best mass produced items in the world. If you cant return it then use the store warranty you will hope you purchased if you were a foold and didnt purchase it well then try to **** with the manuf. warranty. But by all means if you can return this tv to the store and only accept a new in the box model. Keep this in mind it does not hurt the stores budgets to return and exchange for the same item. The defective item goes for repair and gets to be resold again. So all stores will honor this with no trouble providing. #1 You are within the return policy. and most importantly #2 you dont buy from circuit city. If you did be wary of your warranty becuase the company just filed for Bankruptcy and they may not be in the position to honor that warranty soon. So if you guys have purchased something from circuit city that that has a warratny and you are within 30 days RETURN it and buy the same thing form the competior that you can forsee being in business for the next 3 years. All major competitors will price match so you wont have to spend a dollar more in most cirmcustances

Returning router

First, as a previous warranty tech that did a lot of work with HSN computer products, I do not give them very high grades for ease of use, or top notch products..... JMHO...

The website sure does not give you much:

Merchandise purchased from the HSN, ON-Air show or cannot be returned at the HSN Outlet Stores. Here are the return instructions (note the telepone number): Just follow these return instructions:
  1. Re-pack the item in the original manufacturer’s packaging and shipping box. Please be sure to include all parts.
  2. Fill out the bottom portion of your packing slip and enclose it with your return. Please specify whether you would like merchandise credit (KA$H) or reimbursement to your original payment method.
  3. Use the pre-printed return label provided on the order summary and affix it OVER THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING LABEL.
