Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Hi i upgraded my psp system from 3.90 to 4.01 then the games on memory stick are not working the even disappear from the screen i read ur suliaion about the same prblem but now custom firmware for 4.01 is available so can i install it over the official or i must downgrade then upgrade it with the custom
Honestly, you might have screwed yourself over w/ that update. the reason sony updates their firmware is to try to lock hackers out of modding their device. i'm really not sure how long 4.1 has been out or whether it's been hacked or not (i stopped keeping up w/ that since i last updated my custom fw to 3 point 8 or 9, i forgot...). you'll have to check w/ a liable source such as psp.qj.net to see if it has been hacked or not. also there is some new unbricking/downgrading battery called the pandora battery or something like that. i downgraded way before that came out, so i really now nothing about, although i can tell you that it is confirmed that they do work, but beware of fakes, especially on ebay
