Why does my 2006 Toyota solara leaking coolant and over heating

when the overheating happens is the coolant level low-if coolant level is good over heating is probably happening because of something else take it to a shop and have them check the coolant system to see if it is being pressurized by combustion gases-this is called a pressure check this will tell them what is going on-cheers Denny

Crown Capital save the earth management, what causes global warming?

Scientists think that Global Warming is caused by the gases produced when humans burn coal, oil, etc. These gases trap the sun's heat in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is made when these fuels are burned. Percentage of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been rising as result of human industries since the Industrial Revolution.

Heat absorbing gases are known as greenhouse gases. The warming of the atmosphere is called the greenhouse effect. Humans add extra greenhouse gases, which gains a bigger chance in the greenhouse effect. The increase causes global warming.

I have a 2001 De Ville, where is the cooling level sensor located. The check cooling level on the information center comes on every time you start the car. The level is ok.

This item is located in the resevoir, by the brake master cylinder. The Northstar has a head bolt problem, that allows compression gases to enter the cooling system, and that blows out coolant. Loss of heater, loss of coolant, eventual overheat are common symptoms.

But, top up and see of the issue comes back. If it does, have the cooling system checked for exhaust gases..... Extremely expensive to fix CORRECTLY.

Gas backup wont light. repairman said need new heat exchanger. approx 60 days ago replaced all burners and it woked ok they got it running for 1 night now it is out again. if the xchanger is bad why did...

I would only assume that now you have taken out an over heating sensor. When a heat exchanger goes bad it is a very dangerous situation because now you are pumping carbon monoxide in your house along with your heat. A heat exchanger is a baffle that hot gases pass thru, heating up the exchanger along the way and expelling carbon monoxide out the exhaust/chimney. Bad exchangers crack along seams or burn holes thru allowing the exhaust to mix with the blower air and in time this could cause carbon monoxide build up in your house. This cracking also lets hot exhaust in to the furnace and can burn up over heat protection, wiring and possibly cause a house fire. Please change out the heat exchanger or entire furnace, there is no price to replace a human life.

Flame rollout on ignition causing rollout switch to fail, prior technician to me feels it is the heat exchanger. I feel that if it was the heat exchanger the rollout would occur after the indoor blower...

roll out occurs if there is not enough combustion air at the burners or there is a blockage of the vent pipe. check both for problem. a blocked heat exchanger can also cause a roll out.

Lately my four years old Laars Mini Therm makes whining noise when it runs; especially at night when everything is quiet. Please sugest what most likely the cause ... Thanks

Quite possibly a partially plugged heat exchanger either water side or gas side. The gas side would be soot deposits on the heat exchanger preventing the proper flow of comubstion gases from flowing out the vent, the water side would be scale build up on the inside of the heat exchanger.
