Question about Panasonic (TYSP32L7WS) TV Speakers

Open Question

Since my 85 year old hard of hearing mother has come to live with me, I have had to turn up the volume on my TX-L37G10B to find that intermittantly I get a "vibration" sound, the volume is between 50% and 75%. The shop told me to lower the Bass but when I told him it was set at 50% he said that was ok. Sometimes when playing recorded films on Sky or DVD'S the sound is very low even when turned up to 75%+

SOURCE: DVD recorder DMR-ES15EB/EBL won't play

Make sure you are trying with a brand new blank disc for recording. Also try reading a commercial DVD like a movie that you purchased or rented. Make sure you format the disc and that the write protect tab on the cartridge is not set.
What type or blanks are you using? DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW?

If you still can't record or play after trying known good discs then there might be something wrong with your recorder. If it's still under warranty contact the dealer where you purchased the recorder for assistance or Panasonic at 1-800-211-7262.

My panasonic viera TX-L37G10B and turns off after 3 seconds and it says there are technical difficulties?

I would of course first GOOGLE the model number with the word problems and see what you find.

If it goes off after 3 seconds (never gets a picture?) it will have to be opened and checked.

Typical inspection begins with set apart measure each voltage on power supply board AT TURN ON.

Which goes down first and stays down?

Basic trouble shooting for most sets.

My mother in law is very deaf in one ear and has poor hearing in the other. How can I tell if her own hearing is at fault or her hearing aid battery needs changing or there is some other fault causing her...

I have a similar issue with my 86 year old mother-in-law and her hearing aids. Depending on how long they are worn/turned ON, determines how long the battery in each one will last. In my mother-in-laws case, she waits to long to change the batteries or doesn't keep the volume turned up high enough. So, in her case, the battery(s) get weak, before she realizes it. The other thing that is most important is when we age our body (ears in this case) physically change and the hearing aid(s) that were originally fitted several years before, don't fit as well as they should. I am also convinced that their hearing continues to deteriorate and they should be tested and fitted with a new hearing appliance, as needed.

The down side to this, is that hearing aids are not inexpensive. So, if Medicare, Medicaid or their own private insurance want cover at least part of the cost, most people don't want to pay for new ones. Or as my mother-in-law says, "Oh, they're working alright." When in fact, they're not. My wife and I can tell by the volume on her TV. When you can hear it from one floor to another, her hearing aids aren't working right.

I have a Panasonic TX-L37G10B TV which has Freesat and that works OK on my Sky Satellite dish but I can not seem to get the Sky box to work, I have tried a Scart lead

A lot of scarts simply don't work, The BEST way to hook up, is either SVHS mode plug and AV, or better yest, use the Component Video, Blue, Red, Green, ALL Video. Audio is the Red & White, Jacks, wire color to color.

My 91 year old mother is very hard of hearing and in a long-term care facility. I want to install headphones on her RCA F19436 TV. There are output jacks on the back, but that hook-up doesn't seem to work....

You probably will need to make a wireless connection to the TV so your mother can control volume remotely. Went through that with my Mom in similar circumstances.

Did you set all your parameters (see manual, page 15)? After that, you can then also change the levels of each speaker (page 16) also.
