Question about GPS
Charge time depends on brand and model of your GPS. I'd say between two and six hours. For most GPS devices you can just keep the charger connected to the device and only remove it when you park the car in a place where theft is possible. When connected to the charger, the device should be running even if the battery is depleted.
If you connect to a cigarette lighter plug, the car does not need to be running, but the electricity must be switched on, i.e. key inside and turned into first position.
If you have a GPS mounted fixed into the console, there is no generic answer, in most cases, I guess, it is the same as with the cigarette lighter chargers.
