Question about Kenmore Microwave Ovens
Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
The F9 error code indicates an inverter failure. If you continue to receive the F9 error code after unplugging the unit for 5 minutes, the control system assembly may need to be replaced.
Note : Microwaves are not good do-it-yourself projects. Microwaves are inherently dangerous to service. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any repair.

F9 is indeed a door switch error.
I would suspect that if the switches are good, a couple of wires may be reversed on them, or maybe one of the door switch mounts is broken.
There may be a wiring diagram in the oven, either pasted to the cover, or folded and stored behind the control panel.
If you can supply the actual model number (not 636xx, etc.) I can try to find a wiring diagram.
