Hi, i have a nec notebook. while operating on XP everything was fine but when I upgraded to Win 7, I cannot find an audio driver. I tried several drivers but all failed. Anything I can do (other than reverting to XP!)? Thanks

It is not good to just upgrade your operating system if your don't have harware driver. Most especially to new operating system Windows 7. Try to using websearch for your nec notebook by typing its name and model number. If not, try to find vista operating system if your can find complete drivers.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Install DriverMax 6.41.0.363 or driveridentifier http://www.driveridentifier.com/desktop.php
and drivers choose to present it requires inscription on site.

I had the same problem but once I installed these two could find the drivers it needed. You can also go to the asus website and search for the model name of your laptop.

I have another problem: after install win7, the batery not charge.
I bought the laptop with Vista, but I installed XP, now installed Windows 7, everything is working perfectly but not charge the battery, I've tried everything: calibration, tested various power plans, I ended up buying a new battery but no result . I think it must be some kind of driver or change something in the BIOS that I lack despite having returned to install XP and Vista and battery re-charging without problem. if you can help me send email jubatrakdc@hotmail.com
good luck

Gateway mx 6421 win764 driver issues

You could, drivers are based on manufacture. Like Realtek is a common maker of audio chips, and sometimes distributors use a popular motherboard.
You may have plateaued at Vista, by try the Troubleshooting Compatibility with Vista 64 drivers before you roll it back.

BTW - This happened to me with Win 8.

I have a Toshiba Saltellite laptop that I upgrade from XP to win 7. The audio is not working. Any driver for this kind for Win 7

Go to the Toshiba website and find the drivers for that particular model of Satellite. They will usually have the audio driver there for you to download. If not, figure out the brand and model number of the soundcard, and do a search for the driver off of their site

Hi
Win 7 is extremely touchy about network drivers. I didn't see your computer model listed but you'll need to log onto your computer manufacturers support page and download the Win 7 drivers for the network. Since your internet connection doesn't work right now I'd suggest another machine, if you have one or go to your local library with a Flash Drive and download the drivers to that. Good Luck
