Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC14 Animal. If it doesn't seem to be picking up as well as usual, it's possible that there's a blockage in the system. The easiest way to check for and remove any blockages is to follow the steps shown in our online support guide:
Although I note that you've already washed the filters, you may find it useful to watch the video linked below to make sure you're washing them correctly. Under normal use, this should be done at least every 3-6 months.
