Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: By jayls229 on Dec 31,

if it shows the loading screen try to reset it first ...and only if it can not be reset ..only after that think about the updating ..
Most mp3 players have a reset button hidden in a hole at the side or at the bottom and need to be pressed with a sharp object until restarts..

Upgrading the firmware version is a different process from formatting the player. You will need the installation given along with it to upgrade the firmware for it. Else you can refer the mannual to learn how to Unlock...!!!

There must be one on www.cobyusa.com but because it is a new product, they don't have a new firmware yet. In fact, I'm not sure that MP-C7095's firmware is upgradable
