As far as I can see it, if you want to use your cylinder gas then you will have to collect it yourself if there is no company in your area that sells LPG. To use pipes gas you will have to change the burner mixture setting on your cooker otherwise is may not burn properly.
Stupid rules I know.

CAN a ZANUSSI gas cooker be converted to utilize NG ? Without affecting its programs and controls ?

usually any gas cooker can be converted as long as the gas jets are changed to the right size. they also have to be the right fitting. it would involve a lot of work as you will need to get into the nitty gritty of the gas lines inside the cooker and if you make a mistake it can cost to get it fixed.

The fire output is very low and we can smell a small amount of lpg we have changed the gas regulator but it did not solve the problem

You must have either the wrong regulator, or low incoming pressure to the regulator and with the smell of gas I would suspect a leak in the system. Check all fittings on the lines with windex to see if you see it bubbling along any of the connections, if it is bubbling you have a leak. A better product to check for leaks is Snoop, but if you can't find it windex will work.

Small gas leak smelled inside house from GE Adora (just 2 yrs old). Have moved stove and have put soapy water with paint brush on every connection including regulator...don't see any leak evidence...any...

You may have to use dish soap straight, do not use the brush. I use an old spray bottle and dish soap straight, not watered down, to find my leaks. Gas is a very low psi. Soapy water will not bubble up. It can and will just be pushed out of the way. Do not forget any other gas appliances in the house, hot water heater, stove, any thing that uses gas. Please check all. Recheck your stove and even any connections inside, on/off valve etc. Hope this helps Fixya up.

Putting wall bracing up before sheetrock. What is the width of the wall brace for the microhood and how far below the upper cabinet should it be installed?

Howdy, when you have a situation where all the specs are not well defined, it is a fair cheat to use 1/2 to 3/4 inch plywood as a backer, covering the largest possible dimention of the installed machine. I have simply cut it to fit the stud spaces and make sure my wires and pipes are all clear. Kitchen is the best room in the house, I think. Good job making sure you have your bases covered.

When one of the gas hobs is on ,it does not burn with a blue flame but a more yellow one .also black soot forms under the burner plate.it is on lpg

Have to adjust the piolot lights for the amount of gas coming out. U have too much gas coming out(yellow flame). On older gas ranges, there was a small screw between the piolot light & burners that had to be adjusted. (if this is a older model) have to turn the screw just a little at a time, till ur flame returns to blue on ur burners. Hope this helps.

I have gas to all appliances in my home but range will not lite. Part time reidence so range has not been used recently. Is ther a reset system? Igniters are working OK.. Tom

all it needs is a spider to get into the pipe work and this will stop the gas mixing in the burner,, or a little corrosion on the jets will stop it too,
you may just have a lot of air in the gas pipe will the range light with a match? or do it just blow the match out? if so your just blowing air not a good gas mix?

Cold air from outside coming in house through vent

Sounds like your damper (flap) outside is working, and that's probably the first thing to check. Wind may be also pulling the damper open from time to time. Hopefully the pipe fitting is sealed, and the pipe is insulated anywhere it runs through any unheated portion of the house. Some amount of cold air getting in will be unavoidable. The best bet next might be to look over the two pages in the installation instructions that deal with outside venting. If you don't have the installation instructions, you can get a copy here: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/ Then if you don't notice any obvious problems with the installation, it may be time to contact the installer for their two cents.
