Touch screen

please see the troubleshooting chart. God bless you

  1. Controller is confusedA power surge or random non-reproducible action of the universe may have resulted in the controller's program ending up in an infinite loop. Pull the plug for a minute or two to reset it.
  2. Defective Interlock switchesThis can result in the controller thinking the door is open and ignoring you.
  3. CleaningCleaning solutions (spray cleaner) may have gotten inside and shorted out the touchpad or controller. If this happens remove the touchpad, let it air dry for a few days, and then attach it back on the microwave.

I don't have the Manuel to program a WESTEK TE22DHB timer. Can you locate one or tell me how to program it?

Many timers are sold under different brand names with different numbers.
For example Westek TE06WHB is same as Woods 59377

Sometimes different timers are packaged under same number, for example Utilitec TE06WHBL is shipped as the old Woods TD1300.

GE and Utilitec sell the same timer with different numbers.
Westinghouse and Stanley and Utilitec and Woods overlap.

I got manuals for some, and can sometimes cross reference if you describe the timer.

1) take a minute and add a comment with description of button layout with button names, or describe the dial and switches. Be as detailed as possible.

2) Look through timers on following links and see if your timer shows:

Add a comment for more free help.
Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

Sanyo microwave EM-3310
OK above is a service manual, this should get you into the "ball park" I have given you also a DIY repair of microwaves.
Usually, the magnetron, or High Power Diode, is what fails. Anyway perform the troubleshooting steps, and you should be able to sort it out.
BE CAREFUL. Microwaves are LETHAL.

Microwave Oven not Hot

Common faults or combinations of faults:

Main processor board is defective.

Control devices, thyrisistor or relay on the processor board has failed, and or the drive components to this device.

Defective safety switches.

High voltage power supply failure. Usually the high voltage rectifier, and or the power transformer, and or the main high voltage capacitor, and or the magnetron.

I suggest that you DO NOT mess inside your microwave oven. This is probably the most dangerious appliance in the home next to the TV set. There are very high voltages employed. If you do any maintenance on a microwave oven and if something is not right there is also risk of high frequency EMF radiation exposure.

After opening a microwave oven and doing service on it. We always did a ratiation test to make sure that there is no leakage while it is in operation.

I suggest you do some reading at the links below.

Front panel of the door just came off in my hand -

The inside hinge assembly may have to be changed. The hinge assembly may be defective. Some of the parts may have fallen inside, and must be found or replaced as necessary.

You cannot simply put a door back on a microwave oven even if you changed the hinge assembly.

If you have any issues with the door or case assemblies, the proper radiation testing has to be performed to make sure that there is no microwave radiation leakage when the unit is being operated. This is very serious!
