When i insert the memory card in my Kodak c143 east share then i displayed that " memory card is protected (reset switch on memory card)".

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How do i unlock " card is protected?

Remove the memory card from the camera, look along the one edge for a tiny switch, slide it towards the contacts to unlock, the switch that is in furthest from the contacts is in the locked position to prevent deletion of the pictures. Now if the card is already in the unlocked position slide it back and forth to reset, if this fails replace the memory card.

Take the memory card out of your camera. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again. Then put the card back into the camera.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

Nikon Coolpix 5200 Getting Message ""Memory Card is Write Protected"

Inspect your SD card carefully. Some SD cards come with a write-protect lock switch on the side of the card. When looking at an SD card from the top there is one required notch on the right side (the side with the diagonal notched corner) and on the left side there is usually a switch. This is the write-protect switch. When this write-protect switch is in the down position (away from the end that is inserted) then it is write protected and read-only. When the switch is in the up position it is write enabled.
