Question about Cameras

JVC GZ-MG27U 20GB HDD Camcorder (Communication Error)

I don't know if you saw my message as I typed it, because all I saw were a bunch of Quot items where I was trying to depict the connection point labels on the unit with their voltages. They were the + that is supposed to be the +7.6vdc point, and then the C that had the +3.09vdc, and the T that had the +2.91vdc. Anyway, you didn't really answer my question other than to say I should send it in for repair to a Service Center. I don't want to get a high priced repair for something I believe is probably a broken wire on the + connection at the inside somewhere on the unit, but rather am looking to confirm if what I suspect is actually the situation. However, if I need to get it sent in, then I would need to know where to send it in for such repairs, and an estimate on the costs involved.
Thanks, Steve

I am in Rialto, CA., which would be about 60 miles from Cypress location. What about repair costs?

Where abouts are you located? It is possible that what your saying is the case. The only problem is not doing any further damage doing the repair. Once I get your general location I can better assist you with the best service center.

the above link is for local service centers

and that link is the factory service centers.

When I open my JVC GZ-MG27U camcorder, HDD ERROR appeared. Is this fixable? What should I do?

Possible that the hard disc has crashed or has errors within the drive. In most cases the hard disc has to be changed and so you need to get support from JVC for an estimation so as to get an idea of the cost of repair.

Communication error appears in harddrive camcorder JVC EVERIO GZ MG330A , battery doesnt work

Check your battery contacts and camera's battery terminals for some dirt. If not from there, your battery needs replacement. When buying new one, test it first before leaving the store, its because even new one(old stock) might have the same problem. Good luck

No power to camcorder

It is the internal circuitry that has to deal with powering the camera with the battery. You will want to follow this link and locate the nearest service center and have it repaired.
