I have nikon coolpix l16. Off late even though i used new battery for few clicks, I get Battery exhausted message. Please help.

I'm really not sure about this. But you could try cleaning your camera's battery connection with a (dry) earbud.

Are you using the correct type of battery? Those cheap disposable carbon batteries simply cannot power cameras. you need at least alkalines. even better- lithiums or Ni-MHs.

Hi,

You don't mention anything other than battery exhausted but this could be for a few reasons. Obviously the L20 Coolpix uses standard AA batteries so they need to be replaced with fresh new ones when they start to run down.

If you use rechargeable AA batteries then there will be a point that the batteries no longer "hold" a charge and they will also need replacing.

If the batteries are fresh and the camera is running them down very quickly then you will need to get it professionally looked at for repair, I would imagine though that a repair would cost more than the L20 is now worth.

Battery exhausted always showing on camera


pls call canon it may be linked to this problem ur model is different i know but i think problem is same and they are responsible for that repairs

Nikon L12 Battery Fault


I don't know if I have the very same problem with my old nikon Coolpix E44600. I may go through the pictures I have already taken but when I try to take a new one, just as I shoot I get the message the "battery exausted" message and the camera shut down.

You MUST use rechargeable batteries , like NiMh , with charger for that kind of battery , and your problem will go ...
