Mine did the same, the station was trying to connect on channel 1 wi-fi where the centre was on channel 11, check under information and wi-fi for both. I then did a restore on the station, put both into installation mode and they found each other after a few mins.

Hope this helps

Protect the privacy of your Explorer searches Note: This tip relies on the Group Policy Editor, which isn't available in some versions of Windows 7. Thus, this tip will not work if you have the Home Premium, Starter, or Home Basic editions of Windows 7.

When you search through your PC from Windows Explorer, you can see the most recent searches that have been performed. If you share a PC and don't want others to see what you've searched for, you can turn off the recent searches feature:

Select "Enabled" to protect search privacy.

1. In the Start menu's Search box, type GPEDIT.MSC and press Enter to launch the Group Policy Editor.

2. Go to User Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> Windows Components --> Windows Explorer.

3. Double-click "Turn off display of recent search entries in the Windows Explorer search box" and select Enabled from the screen that appears. Then click OK. The recent searches feature will now be turned off.

I have connected my g3 station I use firefox and no icons have appeared so i dont know how to access the station, let alone use it.

Go to Start------>My Computer. You should see the Drive there or else your hard-drive is not showing up and there is a problem with it but try it first.

Please don't forget to rate my solution, thanks.

Radio

Hello george_nutti,

The model number you posted is for a center channel speaker which has no controls, and not knowing the exact model number it's difficult to be specific.

Some Kenwood KDC models allow you to select one of 3 "tuning modes", 1) AUTO1 - Automatic search for stations; 2) AUTO2 - Search Preset stations; 3) MANUAL - Normal manual tuning control. If your Kenwood is one of these models, you need to set the tuning mode to MANUAL. For Kenwood Excelon HD receivers, direct access tuning is done by using the included remote. 1) Press DIRECT button on the remote; 2) Press number buttons to enter desired channel number; 3) Press DIRECT button again to exit direct tuning.

Hope this helps.

Problem using wireless access point to conect desktop PC to WLAN

I have solved the problem:
- first, I had to change the management address in CF-WFAP into address that could be recognized by the router (i used 192.168.1.2),
- DHCP turned off, and set default gateway and DNS to 192.168.1.1. as in router, computer IP was set to 192.168.1.xxx, push "apply", change web address to new one,
- set AP mode to station-infrastructure, push "apply" buton to restart AP,
- set security to same security as in router and copy key into proper field, push "apply" again to reset the AP
- finaly check wireless station around and choose the router (same encription)

NF-M2S restarts.

Hi! Hope this helps. Please consider other components or cards installed on your motherboard. Please try removing one at a time then have it start and shutdown if it works. For harddisk management please see the power management at control panel, select the how or when you are goin' to set your harddrive sleep, standby, etc.. We had also met "Standby Mode Problem", by cleaning viruses, spywares and even the registry it can be fixed. Please search for the right and specific tools. Goodluck!

From HDD mode on the centre, press menu and select "Station Management".
If the option is available select "Delete Station" and delete any stations listed.
Select "Add New Station" and the unit will start searching.

On the station press menu and select "installation mode"
If this option is not available, try from another source setting, such as AUX.

Once the centre has found the station, press stop on the centre, as the station cannot connect until the centre has stopped searching.

If this doesn't work, you will have to reset both units to factory settings and start again.(Menu -----> Settings ------> Restore)

Sanyo VPC-s500 i cant get it to install drivers or find them so i can upload pictures to my computer

The simple solution to this problem is that no drivers are required. This camera is treated as a removable (secondary) drive just as if it was a USB thumb drive or external hard drive.
First go to settings on the camera by rotating the dial to the wrench icon.
Turn the camera on and select Set-Up 2
Select USB
Select PC
Your camera is now ready to use with your computer.
Now plug your camera into your computer and check under My Computer for the drive to show. You can now copy files over to your computer from the camera.
If the drive isn't showing you'll have to go into Disk Management to view it
Disk Management is under Administrartive Tools located in your Control Panel (or Start Menu if you have it set to show there)
Select Administrative Tools
Computer Management
On the left hand side click Disk Management (or on the right click Storage then Disk Management)
Finally you can now Right Click the cameras drive and chose Open
